Centrally located apartment in the old town of Palma de Mallorca close to beaches.

This characteristic apartment is on the 2th floor it has been updates recently, situated in one of the most popular new areas of the old town close to Plaza Mayor.

The space

The apartment is situated in a quiet side square of Banc de L'Oli, near Plaza Mayor, 200 metres from Plaza Santa Eulalia and 550 metres to the cathedral, ideal for people who want to live the old city of Palma. Close by is the shopping centre of Palma, Colon, Jaime II, Borne, San Miguel, Sindicato El Corte Ingles, Supermarkets, and Boutiques.

This apartment is situated at the second floor of a historic building with no lift.

All the historical sites, palaces, museums and art galleries are within walking distance, not forgetting the impressive Cathedral. Surrounding the apartment are many famous squares with coffee shops, tapas and wine bars and restaurants
The central bus and train stations are also very close. Next to the apartment is a bicycle rental, Palma is fully equipped for cyclists.

Throughout the year Palma hosts many fiestas and celebrations, from art nights in the streets, to medieval fairs, firework displays and outside live music. The city hosts international sailing events, and connects the other Balearics Islands by ferry.
Not forgetting the famous Tuesday nights busy "Routa Martiana" which happens in the area of the apartment where all the tapas bars are open offering tapas and beer or wine from 2.50€ each.

The famous antique train to Soller also leaves from Palma, travelling through the beautiful countryside, to the village of Soller.
The beaches of Palma are around 15 minutes walk away. There are also many beaches a few kilometers out of Palma, which can be reached by bus or taxi.

The apartment is in the centre of the old town, with many bars and restaurants around. There are many nightlife areas in Palma, the whole of the promenade (Paseo Maritimo) along the seafront has 2.5 kilometers full of bars, restaurants and nightclubs, which are also within walking distance, or a short taxi ride away.

The market area of Plaza del Olivar, is about 10 minutes walk, this area has many different restaurants from Spanish to Japanese, Thai, etc. Another popular area is La Llonja, with lots of Tapas bars.

Valuable price (on average €25/night/person at a central location). Restaurants and shopping within 5-mins walking. Clean and modern looking apartment (yet the sharing stairs walking up to the apartment needed significant improvements - which is in fact out of the apartment owner's control personally). Will be better if hairdryer and shower gels etc. were provided. Gas heater in the living room didn't seem to work, so the living room could be cold at night during April time.

Amazing!! Salvador's and Claudia's hospitality was beyond anything we could have hoped for. The weather was incredibly cold in Palma during our stay and Salvador was incredibly fast to accommodate our meeds for extra heaters and blankets. The location was unbeatable! Right next to Plaza Mayor and in the heart of the old town. In addition, the house itself was nice. The toilet itself was located on top of some stairs, which was the only surprise. All in all, I highly recommend this apartment!!

Claudia was extremely friendly, the check-in at the appartment was very smooth. There was an information map to help us around. The appartment was clean and well equiped. It was also located in the middle of the historic center.

Nice and clean apartment with a perfect location in Palma. Walking distance to the beach and cathedral. Endless shopping opportunities. One of the bedrooms had a window towards the stairwell, which was a bit noisy at night. The apartment is a little dark and we would prefer some place with a balcony next time. But all in all a great experience staying there, and we would for sure recommend it to others thinking of going to Palma.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit inmitten der Altstadt. Die Wohnung liegt wirklich sehr zentral. 5 Minuten zur Markthalle, 10 Minuten zur Kathedrale und 7 Minuten zum Busbahnhof. Gut ausgestattet mit allem für 4 Personen. Einziger Nachteil ist die Dunkelheit. Man bekommt zu keiner Tageszeit die Sonne zu sehen. Auch die Treppe zur Wohnung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Check in hat mal wieder super und unkompliziert funktioniert. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Todo muy bien. Solo tener en cuenta que para acceder hay una escalera empinada que puede ser problemática para personas con problemas para caminar
