We expect our guests to love our quiet lifestyle here, to not smoke in the cabin, and to enjoy the pastoral beauty of the land. It isn't a 'rule', but I especially appreciate guests who strip the bed (rather than make it) when they leave, and who pack out their trash. There is a dumpster at the end of our road.

Christina's cabin is a beauty! It's small, clean, and such fun to stay in, finding fresh eggs from her chickens for us in the fridge was an exceptional plus. The cabin is great for single retreats or romantic getaways - book it and enjoy your mountain time! 10/10 would recommend.

We needed a weekend of quiet to clear our heads and get away from it all, and this was the perfect place. Cabin and shower area was very clean and peaceful, and the property was absolutely beautiful. The wood stove was a very nice feature as well. Christina was super nice and laid back and even provided us with fresh eggs from her chickens. Definitely would stay here again!

glad you had a restful time. thanks for the feedback, I am aware that the rain seems to be driving the little ants inside, anything else that you saw ?

Our stay at the cabin was fantastic. The cabin is small but perfect and the owners main house is about 200yards behind the cabin. However, we had all the privacy in the world and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cabin is far enough from Floyd that you feel lost in your own world, but still close enough to the city to explore or go to the store. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Thank you for your feedback...and we are happy to hear that you felt private, even though we were nearby.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was a great getaway with my husband. The outdoor shower and wood stove were perfect! The outhouse was as good as an outhouse can be. We brought our bikes to ride on the Parkwayy (when it wasn't raining). We had dinner in Floyd one night which was great. We definitely would like to stay again. Our daughter goes to VT and it was an easy to/fro Blacksburg.

We absolutely loved our overnight at Christina's cabin. It was rustic and secluded, just what we wanted, but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. She had a very welcoming spirit and we felt free to make ourselves at home. We also couldn't believe the level of cleanliness in the cabin, outhouse, and shower house- everything so fresh and clean, even (especially!) the outhouse. We also liked venturing into town to experience some of the local flavor in Floyd. Overall this was such a wonderful getaway and I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to refresh, recharge, and unplug in a beautiful serene setting.
