Come and take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located in the quiet hills of Serpentine. The Cabin is only minutes from nearby attractions like Serpentine Falls and Serpentine Dam, King Road Brewery, Millbrook Winery and the amazing walking and pushbike trails of Jarrahdale.
The property boasts free ranging chickens and ducks and Tavish, our highland cow.

The space
The cabin is situated on the right at the entrance of our property with the main residence being set further back on the left.

You may see us from time to time working up the back.

During your stay we are more than happy for guests to take in the views from the top of the property from the lookout. The block is steep and terrain may limit some peoples access. Please remember that there are livestock here so if you open a gate then shut it behind you.

Upon request, it is possible to feed Tavish, the highland cow carrots, but, only under supervision from Peter or Kalina. Please do not enter his paddock under any circumstances.

WiFi
There is currently no WiFi or tv in the cabin. We like to promote the idea of "switching off" and getting back to nature and connecting face to face instead of over a device. There is however a bluetooth speaker to enjoy music if the peace and quiet gets too much.

Kitchen
The cabin is self contained with cooking facilities, stove, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar are provided. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans provided. There is also access to the outside bbq.

Laundry
There is a washing machine and clothes line if you need to do laundry.

Guest access
There will be a lock box with keys and remote for the electric gate. Code will be given before arrival.

Other things to note
Strictly no fires during the restricted periods. Please make yourself aware of the DFES restriction periods or ask the hosts. Limited fire wood will be provided in the cooler months to keep the cabin cosy. If you exhaust supplies then you will have to supply your own.

No pets please as we and our neighbours have livestock.
