The space

Set on 10 acres, we are offering a "farm stay" style experience with plenty of room to just wander around our gardens, visit our chooks, take in the views from one of the decks or just laze in the hammock under the trees. There is plenty of parking area so room for a boat. You are sure to be welcomed by our little dog "Lolly". A fully cooked breakfast is included in the price.

Interaction with guests

You are guests in our home and are very welcome to share our living area or spend your time in your own area. We leave that up to our guests. There is so much to explore in and around our region you will hardly be home!! Pick our brains on some of the "must do's" while you are here. We provide an extensive folder full of brochures and maps to help you with your plans. The most important thing to us is that you relax and enjoy your stay.

Other things to note

We do have a small inside dog. Her name is Lolly and is very much a part of our family unit. Lolly does not go into the guest areas but does spend time in our living area. If you do have allergies to dogs unfortunately we might not be the best place for you.

Jill and Vince and their place are exactly what I look and hope for in booking an Air BnB. Staying at their idyllic small farm offers the 'best of both worlds' - you receive so much generosity from Jill and Vince (picked up and dropped off at the bus) and at the same time you have your own space to chill out. They totally respect your privacy. The location of their property is ideal for those looking for a quiet respite from busy city life. The house has endless views across rolling hills and the ocean in the distance. For those that enjoy nature, again perfect - you're surrounded by it. Every day you will cross paths with wallabies, kangaroos, koalas and when you head to the beach, quite possibly seals. There are plentiful opportunities for bush walking. And back to their generosity and 'open door' attitude; I arrived without food provisions and without a blink, extra vegetables were added to their cooking. I joined them for a delicious dinner that night; much of which came straight from their amazing veggie garden. Many thanks and I look forward to another visit in the very near future. Absolutely recommended to others.

This is a delightful place to stay! Jill and Vince were the most amazing hosts. They made my stay (of a whole week) very comfortable. The property is beautiful, and Jill and Vince will share their animals and their gardens with you if you're keen. The location is also perfect for doing various day-trips. I'm sure I'll be back!

Excellent place for a getaway! We stayed one night and had a lovely time meeting the animals (inc Lolly the pup and the pigs/chickens/cow/sheep). House was warm, cozy and well looked after. Kindly greeted with a cup of tea upon arrival! Good local food advice. Highly recommend, really great hosts :)

Jill and Vince were GREAT! They have a lovely cosy home with an unreal view of the coast and perfect for sunrises :) Vince knows how to cook a damn good breaky and then we were lucky enough to help feed all their farm animals! Defiantly recommend staying here (only 15 mins out of Portland and so easy to find). I will be back :) Thanks for the stay!

A wonderful place to unwind and take in the beauty of the surrounding area. You will be in good hands with these hosts who know how to help you feel welcome. Jill is very clued into the local scene and only too happy to advise if needed. Vince offers a great cooked breakfast and introductions to the animals. Between them, Jill and Vince have created a little haven. I enjoyed the comfy room with the view out of the window and private bathroom. Also having a space to sit privately was a plus although I felt welcome in the host's living room too. Thankyou for a memorable stay with lovely folks in a beautiful spot.

Jill User ProfileJill is a superhost.

Vince and I love living on our 10 acres of paradise with the wonderful combination of bush and sea views. We spend a lot of our time in our gardens, especially our large vegetable garden. I enjoy caring for our flock of laying hens and they enjoy the free range lifestyle and reward us with remarkable eggs. Sharing good food, watching a movie, having a belly laugh, these are the things we enjoy most.
