Thank you for all the kind words. As I said the communication was difficult with the actaul guests since there was a gap in time. AS for the toilet paper, I told them that I was sorry and checked with the cleaner to make sure it wasn't left in a different location. Since they had been there a few days, I was surprised the request was a bit of a 911. They had more within a few hours also. I am not sure why they felt it was defensive, but regardless, it arrived within a few hours and they were not home, as they told me they would be out for the day. It did not seem urgent once I addressed the request.
As for the water filter, it has been replaced. It is the first one we have replaced since the house was built. I thought it was a simple comment to let us know about it, since we do not reside there, not an issue to be fixed right away. Sorry if they felt it needed immediate attention.
As for the package. It is never a good idea to send mail or packages to someone else's address. As I said before BOTH homes are STR. Both can have guests staying in them, it would not be the responsibility of the front house to deliver mail to the back house guests. We also sometimes stop the mail too. We were not asked in advance, and it should not be assumed that this would be a service provided. Since this visit, the house manual has been updated.
Lastly, the gentlemen looking for his packages before 8:00 in the morning set the camera in the yard off. I received the video and came to the property, as that was alarming to see someone looking around the door and in the mailbox. I had not met him, so I had no idea who he was. It was alarming and an inconvenience. I am surprised by your reaction.
I am glad that they enjoyed the patio and the beds. Thank you for the feedback. We have updated the rules about packages and the cleaners will add extra TP for guests that stay longer than a few days! Thanks again.
