O’Reilly 304
Thinking up the name (the restaurant`s address )can’t have taken much imagination, so it is perhaps a Little ironic that O’Reilly 304 serves up some of the most imaginative cusine in Havana .Exquisete seafood with crispy ve gis presente don metal pans set into wooden trays, while the cocktails and tacos are fast becoming legendary.

Los Mercadres’s restaurant
This private restaurant in a historic building has to be one of Cuba’s most refined paladares for ambience ,service and food, both Cuban and international.Follow a staircase strewn with flower petals to a luxurious 1st floor dining room where musicans play violins and fine international dishes combine meat with exotic sauces.Muy romántico!!!

Chocolate’s Museums (Amargura and Mercaderes)
Chocolate addicts beware: unmissable place in Havana Vieja’s heart is a lethal dose of chocolate, truffles and yet more chocolate (all made on the premises)Situated with no irony intented in calle Amargura (literally , bitterness Street ). It’s more a café tan museum , with a small cluster of marble tables set amid a sugary melange of chocolate paraphernalia.Everything on the menú contains one all-pervading ingredient:have it hot , cold,White, dark, rich or smooth the stuffis divine , whichever way you choose.
Old Square
Laid in 1559 Old Square is Havana’s most architecturally ecolectic square, where Cuban baroque nestles seamlessly next to Gaudi-inspired art nouveau.Sprinkled liberally with bars, restaurants and cafes, Plaza Vieja today has its own microbrewery a beautiful fenced-in fountain and on its west side , some of Havana’s finest vitrales.

Everything was perfect. Jorge gave us a tour of old Havana and it was so useful! If I have friends going to Havana I will recommend this every time.

Fantastic location, and while I never met Claudia, Maidoli, the woman who manages the casa, was very welcoming and helpful, even arranging a cab ride for me back to the airport. The room was clean, and the building and neighborhood felt private and safe. My only note would be the lack of any natural light in the apartment, but you're in Havana to see Havana to see the city, not the inside of a flat.

Excellent place to stay walking distance to great bars and restaurants. The host is friendly and available for any questions, although the language can be a barrier. Definitely would go back again and recommend to anyone traveling to Havana that wants to be immersed in the beautiful culture.

We never actually met Claudia - when we arrived in Havana, we were told that she had double booked the room, and we wouldn't be able to stay in the place we had booked. Luckily, there was a lovely hostess in the casa that set us up in a room -- unfortunately, the room had a smoke smell that wasn't pleasant, but it was located in a great place.

Claudia and her daughter Betty came to pick us at the airport and were super welcoming from the very first minute. It was actually like meeting old friends at the airport and the best way possible to start our first trip in Cuba. The place is ideally located in the heart of the old city, allowing you to experience the real Havana experience, living with the locals. The place is very clean and cozy. Mydollie, a neighbor was lovely and very useful to answer our questions. A little low point for me would only be the fact that there is no direct window to the outside, quite common in Cuba but unusual for me.
