Welcome to our home. A cosy single en suit room overlooking quiet garden.Delicious breakfast in our sunny kitchen. Set in the heart of old Cornish village with stunning views of ocean and river, 2 pubs & wonderful coastal walks to wild beaches. Ideal base for visiting the Eden Project.

The space

Cosy and perfect for some one traveling on their own, overlooking a quiet garden. Price includes delicious breakfast.
We do have a dog but she is not allowed upstairs or around the guests at breakfast time.

Guest access

Guests arrive at the front door and are helped with luggage and shown to their room. This is a good time to let us know your preferred breakfast time and ask us any questions you might have. We then leave guests to settle in but are around if any help is needed.

Interaction with guests

We really enjoy meeting our guests and are as friendly and helpful as we can be but inevitably with 3 teenagers long chats with a glass of something is more of a wish than a reality! Breakfast is a great time though as teens don't seem to be awake then!

Other things to note

Polruan is on a steep hill and like lots of Cornish villages not built for cars, so there is a large pay and display car park overlooking the harbour or a free one at the top of the hill, we have no parking here at the house. Guests either go straight to the car park and walk down or drive down the hill, pull up next to the curb in front of the church opposite and unload luggage. Then guests need to continue down the hill to turn at the bottom and come back up to the car park.
You must be prepared to reverse it is a 2 way street

Unfortunately Bella was away, but Cris and their son were most helpful and the room was charming, down to the last detail of a mini fridge for lovely fresh milk!

What a beautiful BnB! Would highly recommend. Bella was so welcoming, the BnB is divine, and the breakfast was delicious! So unfortunate I could only stay for one night! The BnB, and Polruan itself, I shall be sure to return to! Thanks Bella.

I stayed at at Bella's lovely home for 2 days whilst walking a stretch of the SW coastal path. It was great. Bella ( and her daughters) were very welcoming. My room was very comfortable, clean and every need had been considered. The breakfasts, choice of fresh berries, yoghurt, full English, cereal, toast, fresh coffee , tea and juice. -just perfect! Thank you.

The room is a great size, really comfortable, and in a lovely quiet house. Polruan is a perfect place to stay. Bella was a helpful host and brilliant conversation over a well-cooked breakfast.

Bella is a fabulous host who made me feel very welcome and provided me with everything I needed. The room was very pleasant, clean and homely with a very comfortable bed. The best bit though was the delicious home cooked breakfast!

So lovely and welcoming, very friendly and relaxing. The location is stunningly scenic and beautiful. There are narrow and steep roads (as to be expected for the area) so make sure you can handle hills before you arrive! I went to the local pub for an evening meal (best to book) and took the taxi over to Fowey and back. Everyone I met (including the dog) was very friendly. Great for a quick break away.
