One bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed. A second guest room offers a set of cozy twin beds.
Guest rooms have ample closet space for hanging clothes and storing luggage. They feature room-darkening shades with extra pillows and blankets. (Rooms will both be occupied only when rented by the same party.)
The private guest bathroom has a shower with a tub, vanity counter space to spread out, empty drawers for storing personal items and plenty of towels and washcloths.
The house floorplan allows the option of coming in the front door of our house and going to the bedrooms and bathroom without entering the great room. We are also happy to share our living, dining and kitchen space with people and visit when possible. We have no pets; we do have house plants.
You may receive a front door key for easy access if needed.
You are welcome to store food in our refrigerator and cabinets. Light cooking, like microwave, tea kettle and toaster use, is fine. Plans to cook much more than that would need to be arranged in advance.
Interaction with guests
Let us know what brings you to town so we can perhaps help with your time in Eugene. If you are new to AirBnB and have no recommendations from other hosts, please introduce yourself to us (i.e., a brief profile or an accessible social media page).
Other things to note
We offer coffee or tea and toast and fruit in the morning between 8am and 10am. If you would anything more than this or have food preferences or dietary restrictions, please let us know the day before your visit so that we can prepare.
No vaping or smoking inside; okay on back patio.
Remove shoes while in the house.
Eat in the kitchen and dining area only.
Quiet from 10pm until 7am.
We are a couple of retired educators who raised two kids here in Eugene. We built an "empty nest" a few years back, and we enjoy sharing our new home and meeting people. Our days are spent working on home projects or going for long walks or bike rides, being out in nature and sharing meals with friends.
