We are 10 minutes from Freedom Hall or the Fairgrounds and 22 miles from Fort Knox. It sits in a natural setting on 5 beautifully landscaped acres. There is a large parking area for those who may need to bring a trailer. Bathroom and bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. a rural setting but inside the city... with the feel of being outside the city.
The bathroom and bedrooms are upstairs. The kitchen is equipped with all your cooking needs...table sits 4 people. There is no room for a dishwasher in the kitchen. Sunroom has very comfortable wicker furniture...rocker, sofa, and chair and looks out into a beautiful wooded area. Curtains are pulled on one side for privacy to larger house on property. Large deck seats 4 to 6 people. We have very little company and it is super quiet and peaceful on the property! This property is great for those who want to get away from it all for awhile or great as well for people who want to visit the many events that Louisville has to offer. Everything is within a 15 min. drive from this location. All furnishings are new and selected to help you relax with the colors and your comfort in mind.
You will enter the back door through the sunroom. The front door is never used except in an emergency. This home is not for handicapped or elderly since the bathroom is on the second floor.
Interaction with guests
My husband and I live in the larger home on the property and are retired. We rarely have visitors. We are home most of the time if you ever need us.
Check in is at 3 pm. Checkout is 11 am. This house may be used for a maximum of 5 guests at any one time...including visitors. Smoking is allowed on the deck...but not inside any part of the house. All butts must be placed in the ashtray on the deck and then disposed of when you depart.
