This is honestly one of the nicest airbnb's I've stayed at. Maybe the best. The walk in shower and bathroom were elegant. The bedroom was cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked well, including drinks and snacks and great coffee. There's no kettle but we made do. The only real issue I had with it was the bugs in the area. Lots of bugs, crawling/flying and biting ones, but she did supply bug repellent. There's some restaurants nearby but as those closed early we ended up heading to Las Cruces late at night for fast food which was only a 20 min drive. All in all it was a cozy stay.

Emma and I had the best nights sleep after a long drive. Lyndon welcomed us warmly along with their fabulous dogs, Bea and Lucy and offered many suggestions for local eating and drinking. The room/casita itself surpassed expectations: cosy, comfortable and super clean. Although we didn't make use of the hot tub, the courtyard was beautiful. Candis was very communicative and gave very clear instructions as to how to avoid the construction works happening nearby - appreciated as we didn't know the area at all! Would highly recommend.

The casita is an unexpected delight, well appointed and boasting a spacious bathroom. Parking is simple and secure. The stone house sits snugly during a rainstorm and you will rest well. The two of us both agreed this gem is one of the best Airbnbs we have visited!

Staying here was a great experience. This was my husband's first time air bnbing. He had some reservations about staying somewhere besides a hotel. Fortunately, the casita impressed him! The drive in was quite pretty, as you pass the pecan fields. Instructions were easy and once we arrived, we felt at home. The courtyard is lovely. The hot tub is such a perfect way to wind down at night. The atmosphere was perfect. Spacious, clean, and comfy casita. Kitchen is stocked with coffee and snacks. Bed was very comfy and we felt right at home. Great getaway and good place to stay if you're wanting to visit White Sands National Monument. The nearby old village of Mesilla is great. They occasionally have a farmers market and artisans in the plaza. We highly recommend Candis and Lyndon's place, and would even come back to visit! They are so friendly and great hosts!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the casita! It was super cozy and the hot tub with the Christmas lights were a highlight after a long day of driving! We had everything we would need also. There was a mini fridge stocked with waters and sodas and even separate linens for our pup!

There are too many great things to say about this casita during our first visit to New Mexico! Candis and Lyndon were welcoming and we felt right at home. Don't let the short ride past fields fool you if you are driving from the East/Southeast, this place is a private oasis. Miles of pecan trees form a beautiful canopy covered road to the west. Lots of great local information, clean, abundant snacks and coffee and all comforts of home. Best advice: visit White Sands Monument an hour away, tack it on the itinerary even if you're heading west!
