I can vouch that the people here were very kind! I had fallen very ill before reaching the inn, and Hiromitsu-san graciously allowed me to check in early and even brought me to buy medication. It's a huge shame that I wasn't feeling up to socializing with the other guests as there was plenty of opportunity to do so. The guesthouse itself was very clean and comfortable. And the location is rather remote, but worth it. Iwamura is a fascinating village and still retains its historical charms without the swarms of tourist. Its definitely worth a visit.

I had a great trip in Iwamura, the host and his family is very friendly and kind, this is the best place ever. They took me to local restaurant for Udon noodle, host also took me to Magome by his car, gave me present, show me how to get thru my next destination. Definitely recommend everyone staying here, Iwamura is also the nice and peaceful town to explore. Thanks again for caring me Hiromitsu san, hope to see u and ur family soon. :)

My Stay at Hiromitsu Sans Guest House and in the wonderful town of Iwamura was more that I had hoped for. I was looking for nature, calmness and an escape from the big smoke and that is exactly what I got and more. The Guest house was welcoming, beautifully renovated and very clean. I was made to feel at home from the get go. The town of Imamura is also welcoming, beautiful and to me very magical and spiritual. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a piece of traditional Japan without the hoards of tourists.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay! Very clean, very modern and very comfortable! Hiromitsu is a great guy: funny, very kind and very helpful. If you are going to Iwamura you definitely should stay here. Arigatou gozaimasu for everything!
