We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic few days in Florence in this wonderful apartment. It was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The outside terrace was perfect. We would suggest getting some window coverings for the shower room as it is overlooked from the restaurant next door. It would also be nice to get more pillows as I prefer to have 2 rather than 1. The wifi didnt work and as we needed to access our emails, we managed to connect to "Vodafone wifi" in the bedroom but this cost 15 euros for 3 days. No wifi meant we couldn't watch TV either. I appreciate this was probably down to the internet provider. Despite the above, overall we can't give this place less than 5 stars as it was a really great stay and they were very accommodating. We would definately stay here again and recommend to friends.

The stay with Diana was really nice! The apartment is perfectly located everything within walking distance. They have a folder with a lot of suggestions of what to do or where to eat, and are really open to helping you with further questions. We enjoyed the apartment a lot and check in and out was really easy and quick.:) Thank you very much for the comfortable stay we loved it!

Perfect location and spacious, lovely apartment. Santa Croce is close to everything yet away from the tourist throngs. The house smelled delicious, had high ceilings, lush curtains and everything we needed. The courtyard was perfect for breakfast and doing laundry. I would come back again!

The apartment was clean and historic but had very bad smell of mold and sewer and had very minimum of supply; no extra pillows(2) or blanket(1) or towels(2). However, this apartment was in a heart of Florence , very convenient location to get places, we actually never met Diana, she sent her relative to open a door for us and to collet city tax even though we prepaid everything through Airbnb. Also it was impossible to get any rest after busy sightseeing days because bedroom window was facing main road with a bus stop right by the window and people constantly standing and talking there while they were waiting on a bus. Also, strong stale odor kept us up as well. Diana is not an owner, she is a property manager and to my understanding has few apartments like that and must be really busy. No one ever came or call to check on us, couple other things didn't work; light bulbs, coffee machine .... I would not recommend to use Diana's properties and particularly this apartment. We didn't feel welcome, bad hospitality !!!

Ciao Angelika, wish to apologize we didn't meet. I was in Rimini the day of your arrival for an important event and came back the eve of day after. Actually Melania told me you supposed to come to our office, located just in front of you as wished to make some tours and excursions and have message you on monday without any reply. I indeed missed you. Regarding your complaints _ city taxes are due in Florence and are never included in the rent or in airbnb fee but as written online and all mail and notification is due at arrival. You did not pay them at arrival and not even at departure. Thank you. - Bus stop - you are right, apartment has the plus to be at ground floor with a private courtyard but daytime there is a bus stop of a small electric bus. Buses end to ride at 9 pm. - Odor maybe is the Florence smell of the plumbing that we have in the old part of the city when suppose to rain. It's like this since ever. It's due to humidity. I'm sure with heating and in summer with airco is much better.

Place was in a decent location, central enough to access all the major sights with ease but far enough that you can avoid the swarms of tourists that flood through the city. Only con is there was a bit if a bug problem happening in the back and a lot if them made their way into the apartment. Apart from that there were no other complaints.

HI, I'm Diana, a mom and an exuberant woman, as I consider myself: a manager of my life.
I'm a local guide and I run my company Acacia Firenze, as a travel assistant and offering tourist services. I started many years ago thanks to my experience as a traveler and after many years in Fashion business. I imagined a new way to offer hospitality in my city, opening first my own residence and giving the opportunity to discover a place from the perspective of the resident and of the locals who have their homes in the historical center.
In many years I have built a good connection either with the community of other travelers or the Florentines, all in order to exchange ideas and experience. From this ground grew Acacia Firenze - A perfect Holiday, now a well known travel consulting agency that offers also hospitality and "what to do" consulting.
A project now supported by a team of friends, all women, whose intention is to make all the visitors feel at home, even those arriving in this city for the first time.
