Welcome to Paradise Shores, we're happy you found us! Here at Paradise Shores, we believe in reconnecting people to the simple pleasures of life in a no-frills, peaceful, camp like setting.
Our Baja camper is comfortable and fun. Inspired by our love for the Mexican culture, art, and hospitality, it carries Baja vibes in its vibrant colors and original details. It offers great lake and mountain views and is ideal for a couple, but can sleep up to three.

The space
PLEASE NOTE: After eleven wonderful years, we say goodbye to Paradise Shores, as we hope to continue our search for new horizons and new adventures that await us. We are grateful for many many memories that we will cherish forever.
The family we have chosen to take over could not be better suited to the challenge. Peter and Kate have passion and commitment to further the Paradise project into areas we can only imagine. We've been working with Peter and Kate through this year making sure they're fully ready to take over, and will continue to be involved supporting them, along with our existing team that will stay on going forward. We are happy to know they're committed to maintaining the same standards, character and welcoming community vibe that we put our hearts into creating and nourishing over the years.

Please check our previous reviews to know what to expect when staying at our camp and in the Baja camper, but preferably request the booking via Peter's new "Colorful Baja Camper with Lake & Mountain Views" listing. Thank you!

We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. When you arrive we won’t hand you a list of rules but we may invite you to join us for a campfire, remind you to conserve water, and to separate your trash so we can recycle it. That’s about it, oh yeah: relax, it’s your vacation.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a rental trailer as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to lounge outside and read for days. For the more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, campfires & s'mores. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slower paced life instead.

We constantly improve and update the decor in our campers in effort to make your stay more pleasant and memorable (after all, this may be your first ever RV living experience!). We hope you enjoy and appreciate some changes and finishing touches that may not have been captured in the photo gallery above.

THE BAJA CAMPER:
While spending some time in Baja during the winter of 2013, we fell in love with the Mexican culture, art and hospitality. We wanted to share this experience with our guests at Paradise Shores. So, we transformed the former Cascade trailer into Baja-themed camper. Make sure to bring some tequila to truly soak in the atmosphere! :-)

Our Baja camper is comfortable, fun, and offers great views of the lake and the mountains. Even though this trailer doesn't have any slide outs, it's still pretty spacious and it carries Baja vibes in its vibrant colors and original finishing touches. It is ideal for a couple, but can sleep three people. The sleeping options consist of queen size bedroom and a pull out couch in the living area. Free WiFi internet, TV with a DVD player, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster are all provided. We also have DVDs available upon request at the office; we hope these will help make your evenings after the daily adventures and exploration fun and relaxing.

The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cookware, glasses, cups, plates, paper towels, soap, and all the typical kitchenware. Sheets, towels, and dish towels are ready for you. So, all you really need to bring is some clothing and food. Pretty much everything else is covered.

The camper also has a cooling system, and an outside area with outdoor furniture, as well as the fireplace and barbecue for you to use. We provide one-use supply of charcoal briquettes, to get set up for your grilling and outdoor entertaining, and you can buy locally grown firewood at our office.

Our rate includes space rent, propane, wifi, a parking spot as well as 12% Mono County occupancy tax (TOT).

Hi there! We're Alan and Veronika: husband and wife team, who would love to share our home with you. We love the Eastern Sierra and are eager to introduce this wonderful place to YOU! We welcome guests between late April and mid-October in the rental trailers and year round in our newly renovated Blu House. Our camp is conveniently situated close to many High Sierra attractions. This area is one of the most spectacular in the world and offers exceptional recreational activities. We are fortunate to be located on Bridgeport Reservoir, Ca. with its world famous fishing and water sports. The blue ribbon trout fishing of the East Walker River is just minutes away. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono, June, Convict and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from our camp. Water skiing, sailing, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, and of course world-class trout fishing, are all readily available right from the property. For the more adventurous, there's rock climbing, hiking, snowmobiling and year-round skiing in the backcountry. The possibilities are endless. Yosemite National Park, which occupies less than 10% of the Sierra Mountain Range, is only a small fraction of the adventures this spectacular area affords. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is on a major bird migration route. The fish are plentiful here, the people are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is casual. So bring the whole family; with so many things to do, everyone is sure to have a memorable time. Please message us if you have any questions or would like more information, and start planning your Eastern Sierra adventure today! :-)
