House Rules

Please treat our place as you would your own. In regards to pets, please respect our camper. We don’t charge a pet fee, but ask that animals stay off the furniture. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog. Thank you!

At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't.

* We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility, which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste.
* We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products.
* Essential oils are used to clean our rental trailers.
* We use plant and planet friendly detergent.
* Our camp will be 100% solar powered by 2019.

We live in the desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day operations and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh water resources.

* The water used to wash our linens and towels is recycled to irrigate the numerous gardens on our property.
* In all our rental trailers, we provide our guests with “plant friendly” cleaning products. By only using eco friendly products, we are able to use the kitchen and shower’s water to irrigate our gardens.

We hope you can help us maintain the greener camping!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights during a trip we were taking through the Eastern Sierras. Paradise Shores was amazing, in fact, we are looking into planning another trip here for next year already. On our first night, there was a community campfire with smores from the hosts. We were given wonderful recommendations on places to visit. Everyone was fantastic! We really hope to be back soon! The Baja RV had everything you could possibly need.

We met Justin at checkin and he was super friendly and helpful. The RV is much roomier than expected and as a tall person this was great. It was perfectly set up and felt spacious. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The location is awesome. There are lakes, hikes, hot springs, etc all within a close drive. We went to the ghost town, did a massive hike, visited 2 hot springs and swam in 2 lakes and a river. All within the span of 2 days. We would love to come back and stay for longer. What a beautiful part of California.

Paradise Shores was a good choice for us, trailer and the restrooms were very clean, it was quiet at night, we loved the decor of the Baja trailer, and the touches here and there to make it comfortable, and the views of the lake in one direction and the mountains in the other were great

Paradise Shores was beautiful and we hope we can return there! The camper was beautiful and it's obvious there was a lot of thought put into it. It had all the amenities of a regular room/home - warm water, working oven, kitchen utensils, etc. We loved it! The location was also spectacular. It was close to Yosemite and the resort is on Bridgeport Reservoir which is beautiful any time of day! Five stars. Host wise, Veronika was very friendly, attentive, and available to answer all our questions! We highly recommend staying here.

We spent three wonderful nights at Paradise Shores in the lovely Baja camper. The camper is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable glamping experience, and Veronika and Alan even made firewood and a barbecue available on the cozy porch. The area is amazing for swimming, hiking, kayaking, exploring and relaxing, and we felt fully recharged after our stay there. Communication was great, precise and accurate from start to finish, and everyone we met at the campground were super friendly. We definitely recommend Paradise Shores!

Absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Baja camper which was the best stay of our entire trip! Incredibly roomy, clean and full of character. Everything had been thought of, could not have asked for anymore. The campsite is in such a beautiful, quiet spot, with the small town of Bridgeport very close by with several options for food and drinks. Our only mistake was booking for just one night! Will definitely come back in the future, and stay a bit longer.

Really enjoyed my stay in the Baja trailer. It's small, good for 1-2 people but very fun and comfortable. The bed was really good and the fire pit/table area was beautiful with a great view of the reservoir. I will miss the smell of sage and the sound of the coyote in the early morning. Was a great stay and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great home base for the areas attractions or to just relax there.

Hello there!

We're Alan, Veronika and Oliver: husband, wife and son team, who would love to share our home with you. We love the Eastern Sierras and are eager to introduce this wonderful place to other people. We welcome guests from late April till mid-October. Our camp is conveniently situated close to many High Sierra attractions. This area is one of the most spectacular in the world and offers exceptional recreational activities. We are fortunate to be located on Bridgeport Reservoir, Ca. with its world famous fishing and water sports. The blue ribbon trout fishing of the East Walker River is just minutes away. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono, June, Convict and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie are all within a short drive from our camp.

Water skiing, sailing, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, and of course fishing, are all readily available right from the property. For the more adventurous, there's rock climbing, hiking, snowmobiling and year-round skiing in the back-country. The possibilities are endless. Yosemite National Park, which occupies less than 10% of the Sierra Mountain Range, is only a small fraction of the adventures this spectacular area affords. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings. Do you enjoy bird watching? There are hundreds of different species right here at Paradise Shores, which is on a major bird migration route.

Did we mention the world-class trout fishing? We are the closest lodging to the famous East Walker River, not to mention the trophy fishery right here at the lake. Additionally, numerous other lakes, rivers and creeks are only a short drive away. People come from around the world to stay with us and fish this unique area.

The fish are plentiful here at Paradise Shores, the people are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is casual. So bring the whole family; with so many things to do, everyone is sure to have a memorable time. Please message us if you have any questions or would like more information.
