About this listing
A quiet, spacious dwelling under the house. Our place is basic but super clean with comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. Wanting your beloved pets to come? My place is perfect. We offer a safe environment, with a fully fenced yard & absolutely love dogs, they are sincerely welcomed (but can not be aggressive). We have a lge fridge, elec frypan, rice cooker, jug, microwave. Plse note as is pics there are 2 single beds! Our pics are true to form. I offer dog sitting $20 day/$25 night.
The room is under the house and has a little kitchenette just outside the room, a large fridge and tv. The beds are comfortable. There is a desk and a hanger for clothes and some draws. Two single beds. We give you privacy and a really peaceful presence. Often its only the birds and wind in the trees you can hear. A short walk at the end of our street there is a bus stop. Please note the kitchenette has a microwave, large fridge/freezer, kettle and electric frypan. Thats all. No bbq, and no electric stoves tops. We include fresh Milk for tea and coffee. Also a great Caffitaly coffee machine that does the work for you. Coffee pods included but no breakfast. We just found pleasing people with cereals wasn't easy and we don't like to offer a stale breakfast either. So fresh milk, tea and coffee only in our BnB. note our pics are true to form only nicer when you see it - so the previous guests have told us. So if you look at the bedroom it shows 2 single beds, no double. You can always push them together should you wish.
Under the house, the yard, the kitchenette, the t.v area under the house.
Interaction with guests
I can offer a bus timetable, map, phone book, wifi. Happy to help with anything.
A super quiet street. You are not likely to see a car go down our street. yet there are shops close by. A fantastic bakery, news agency (all two streets over in Mooney st). With a total 8min walk you can be at the best Delicatessen in town that sells unique products from all over the world. Run by an Italian family it boasts the best and yummiest produce. Not too expensive either.
You can catch busses from Palmerston and Fulham road - both form the t-junction at opposite ends of Kent st.
Other things to note
We have two adorable poodles that will say hello, but leave you alone.
please just strip the beds of all the linen and leave in a heap on the floor. and in general, clean up after yourself, ie wash dishes. No smoking on the property and respect our very quiet haven. Its also good if you tell us if your dog sheds a lot of hair? They are still welcome and they can sleep in your little lounge area. Perhaps in the case of excessive hair shedding, not in the bedroom. If not shedding a lot of hair, bedroom is fine.
I'm a dog lover, so as bonus for choosing me - your precious friend is welcomed with open arms. We have 2 small poodles. All is ask is they are not viscous and the dog is not an excessive barker. They can even sleep inside with you (under the house, or in your room). I'm not fussed. If they leave a lot of hair, i would ask you to let me know at the time of booking. We are on a large block with beautiful back yard gardens for you and your pets to explore. If you wish to explore our national parks or stay on the beautiful Magnetic Island i can dog sit. I charge $20 a day. I have traveled extensively all over the world, including the beautiful Galapagos Islands. I lived in Spain and Andorra for 6 mths equally and my Spanish is basic. I don't travel much anymore as I have two beloved dogs. This is mainly why I decided to host on Air BnB. I love to surf and if there are 25 knot winds for a couple of days we go to Maggie Island, Florence Bay and catch a wave or two. Shh, its our secret. Nobody thinks you ever get surf up this way because of the reef. My second passion is snowboarding and my third mountain bike riding. I can offer you all the tips for local riding. I like to swim, do yoga and Pilates, listen to music and mountain bike riding. If you stay here, I welcome you, but I leave you alone. My favorite book has been the "The Book Thief" for years now. I'm currently reading 'Dirt Music' by Tim Winton and just finished Many Nolans comedy book about her past boyfriends. My favourite food - Japanese! My favourite destination: Byron Bay and anywhere there are nice clean consistent uncrowded waves!
