This is a truly remote location so it can be very difficult to get here. Access is by boat only which guests must arrange for themselves.

An old crofthouse has been refurbished as a cosy off-grid studio for adventurous travellers on Scotland's west coast. It has outstanding views surrounded by wild and beautiful countryside. This is the only house on the secluded Loch na Droma Buidhe, there is no road and our nearest neighbour is 6 miles walk away.

Sally's place is a true rustic retreat. We returned this year for another dose of simplicity, native woodland shores, seals, sunsets, home baking, canoeing and romantic solitude. A very special place and host.

To get to Sally’s we used Andy at Ardnamurchan charters for a water taxi to Dorlin which was roughly a 30 minute boat ride through stunning scenery with an abundance of local wildlife. Sally met us at Dorlin and escorted us roughly one mile to her croft. We really enjoyed our…
