The space
Cosy lounge with wood burner and plenty of beams!. Oak spiral staircase to bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling. There is a double bed in the bedroom A wooden stepladder leads from the bedroom up to a mezzanine nook with uninterrupted sea views..not for the faint hearted.

West Quay has a tiny private courtyard to sit out.


Prior to departure
Please put used towels into the bath and leave the cottage tidy.

Lounge. Kitchen. Downstairs loo. Washing machine. TV. Wi fi. Bedroom. Bath with overhead shower. Mezzanine balcony nook with sea views. Your own front door. Constant hot water and you control the central heating!

West Quay Cottage is situated in a narrow street close to the harbour. Our designated secure parking space is about 5 minutes walk away in the residents car park in West St. The fob to lift the barrier is on the key ring and the allocated space is number 24 directly opposite the gate.

There are a couple of ‘pay as you go’ car parks nearby, (free from 6 pm until 9 am) and some free on street parking spaces.

West Quay’s parking is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. The up side of this is that once your car is safely in the secure residents car park up the hill you may not need it again until your break in Watchet is over!

Other things to note
We are in the midst of a vibrant, friendly little town especially in the Summer. Great live music can be found most weekends. It's easy to find peace and tranquility on local beaches beaches and beautiful Exmoor. From the cottage you can hear the comings and goings of steam trains at Watchet Station only a couple of minutes walk away.

The winter months are somewhat quieter but the walks are still wonderful, the fishing good (if you’re lucky) and West Quay is lovely and cosy!

Steam trains through Watchet Station less than 5 minutes walk away along the Esplanade.
