This is a large, bright, two room, private apartment that takes up the third floor of a Victoria row home. It's on a tree lined street, just off the park, and it's just 10 minutes walk to Yale & downtown New Haven. There's a full kitchen, separate living room, bedroom, and full bath. It's great for visiting professionals, Grad's and small families with school age children.
This is the sunny top floor apartment in a, 1902 Victorian town home, in the historic Wooster Square park area of New Haven. The flat has a nice floor plan, with two separate rooms, small full kitchen and full bath with cast iron tub. It's an end unit with new windows for plenty of light. The furnishing are designed to accomidate a couple or small family with one school aged child. There's a full queen bed, and bedroom set, a small fold away cot, and room for a crib, if needed. The comfortable, and separate living room for relaxing and entertaining, is at the front of the unit, off the kitchen. The small kitchen has a lot of storage space, full size appliances, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. All your linens are provided, and there is a laundry area in the building.
The free street parking is easy and unmetered. If you are going to park for longer then a few days we'll arrange for a $20 parking tag.
There is full laundry facilities and extra storage in the basement. A large back yard for relaxing, gardening, and cookouts, and plenty of FREE on street parking.
Interaction with guests
I live fifteen minutes away and visit the apartments all the time. You have direct contact to me any times, I own and maintain the building personally.
Other things to note
There are two other apartments below in the building. The full time tenants are young professionals who call this home. Polite and quiet behavior after hours is appreciated. I love this building, and work hard to invite tenants to live here who love it too.
This is a large Historic town-home that is converted into 3 separate apartment. The neighbors on the first and second floor have lived here for years. This is their home. You are welcome to use all aspects of the building and yard, I just ask that you are quiet after-hours, and respectful of your neighbors.
Utilities, Heat, Electric, Cable TV and internet access are included in the monthly rental price. I reserve the right to charge additionally for these utilities IF the tenant over uses these amenities. These charges will be added to the rent, and or deducted from the security deposit.
There are fresh clean linens, towels, cooking equipment, pots pans and dish ware for you to use.
*You are responsible for maintaining the apartment during your stay and cleaning and leaving the place in the same neat and tidy order that it was in upon your arrival.
*Please remove food and all personal belongings when you leave.
*The garbage and recycling should be set out in the receptacle at the front of the building for Monday morning pick-up.

I'm a designer, inventor, engineer and builder and I enjoy fixing-up and renovating homes. My family and I enjoy our good friends, food and drink and occasional travel. I own and manage the-up-keep on a few apartments locally, and I'm always looking for the next fixer-upper! We are also involved with the Yale community, and enjoy our urban / suburban lifestyle here in little New Haven.
