About this listing
Trefoil Hut (Trefoil is a type of lucky clover) is cute and cosy. It's a small hut in a sunny garden, with enough functionality to enable you to enjoy some comfort in your own space. There's enough there for more than basic living! You have space relax, eat and sleep as close to nature as you can get. It's cheap but stylish!
This is glamping Penzance style! This small but cosy space which consists of a glorified hut in the garden is ideal for those on a budget, but who want their own space and a few creature comforts besides! It would be my first choice anyday and I have actually abandoned my own house many times to hole up in this more than cute abode!
Surrrounded by trees and greenery, whilst 3 minutes walk to the sea, 5 minutes to galleries and gardens (Morrab and Penlee) and 7 minutes to shops, cafes and restuarants. Stunning beaches and coastline nearby.
The hut itself contains a double futon bed that doubles up as a settee, electricity which gives you lighting, heating, a microwave cooker, toaster and kettle and all the crockery and cutlery you will need for day to day living.
A bedsheet is provided, with pillows, but you will need to bring your own sleeping bags for comfort and warmth (arrangements for bedding can be made for an extra charge of £5 if you dont have any whilst travelling).
There is outside sitting space in a large, sunny garden and access to a barbeque and chimneya for sitting out and keeping warm at night.
The house where your hut resides is on a no-through road situated near a fantastic conservation area, leading from Love Lane, stacked full of willow trees, fruit trees and green space for strolling around. Love lane itself leads to the sea one way, town, parks and gardens the other, and rolling countryside the other so heading in any direction, you cant go wrong!
Access is either from the back or front of the house, through the gardens to the hut. Guests are given access information on their arrival and are free to come and go as they please to the hut itself.
There is running water accessible in the garden (from the garden tap) for general use including cooking and dishes, but access to showers / bathroom and main toilet is via the main house. There is a access to a portaloo at all times, with access to the main house restricted between certain times.
Guests can enjoy the garden seating areas adjacent to their hut, which is a lovely outside space and includes table and chairs for alfresco dining!

Penzance has a great personality and offers all the amenities you need. I have lived here for 15 years and love every inch of it's character. it's eclectic mix and it's friendly atmosphere. It has traditional and unique cinemas, some great independent shops (as well as the standard ones you may need), award winning restaurants and pubs, auction houses, art galleries, vintage clothing stores, antique shops, wine merchant, deli's and health food stores and vineyards just on the outskirts of town.
This summer sees the reopening of our treasured Art deco Jubilee Pool, a 1930's outdoor seawater lido which is at the heart of Penzance and an experience not to be missed.
Whether its wind/kite or board surfing, sailing, trekking, cycling, kayaking, fishing, yoga or just gentle walks to spot the bird/(URL HIDDEN) all here waiting for you.

There is no smoking in the hut itself but you can smoke in the gardens surrounding.
I do work and respect my neighbours too, so it would be helpful if there was not too much noise in the later evening, either inside the house when accessing for bathrrom purposes or out in the garden.
Access to the house for showers / main toilet is arranged on your arrival.
I have a dog, who is here sometimes and not others but is very friendly and self contained.

I am an active person who loves the outdoors and doing things. I like running, cycling and spending time with friends and family.
I love living in Cornwall and settled here to bring up my son, having travelled to different parts of the world and not found anything more idyllic.
I think people find me approachable, friendly and sociable while respecting people's space, time and wishes.
