Stay in my home in a lovely comfortable room, king size bed in a stylish grade 2 listed railway cottage dating from 1850. I have a tranquil south facing sunny garden. Hot tub is available upon request to use during your stay. Boutique shower room. Spacious living room and dining space. Near to the Rail Station 7 minute walk and 15 minutes to the city centre.

Whitlingham Lane and Trowse are very near or equally you can walk along the riverside to into the city or out.

The space
“There are no strangers here, only friends who haven’t met. “ W.B Yeats.

Delightful victorian bedroom, modern in design a King Size bed in the cottage. The room has an extremely comfortable mattress and Egyptian cotton bedding, wonderful for a great nights sleep Individual in design, quiet and relaxing space.

The house is an old railway cottage and full of character the bedroom is in the eaves, so a few sloping ceilings. The room is not a large room and is as depicted in the pictures.

Please note this is not for a hire of the whole house it is a room in my home.

Guest access
You are free to help yourself to tea, tisanes and fresh coffee and use the kitchen if you wish to cook. You are also welcome to use the rest of the house and enjoy the garden. 5 person hot tub available on request at an additional charge at £5pp payable on arrival, to relax at the end of the day. Please treat the house as your home as I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay here, but also be respectful that it is my home .

Other things to note
Please send a small chat when arranging your stay.
I am happy to coordinate earlier check in by arrangement and if feasible.

The property is over 170 years old and has not a steep staircase as in terraced properties but an older style staircase, steps are wide and floorboards that creak, the bathroom is sited downstairs.

I have a great internet connection, fibre and an Apple TV so you can airplay to the TV to watch movies or equally Netflix and Amazon etc but I do not have a TV licence.

There may be another female guest staying at the same time and I live at the property.

There are two very friendly cats who love guests and sitting on laps.

The only other noise other than the trains that you may hear are city seagulls and birdsong.

Quiet neighbourhood, the cottage is down the lane, away from the road. It is a Railway Cottage and built originally for the railway workers, therefore it is near to the train line, so you will hear trains.
We are very near by and walking distance to Norwich Riverside (5 mins) Shops, Bars, cinema, bowling and Restaurants by the river.
Equally there is some nice places to eat along the riverside on Yarmouth Road. Or in so many lovely places in Norwich City Centre. Whitlingham Lakes and Trowse dry Ski slope are in this area of the city. So a great escape if you fancy a bit of a walk in the country.
