The space

**Several weeks & weekends offered for $200/night and/or $250 Fridays and Saturdays in June (10-13) (24-28), July (14-25) & August (17-21).**

Our home, originally built in 1850, is part of the historic district. You'll see from visiting that we have a nice mix of modern and historical charm: fully renovated kitchen with 6-burner gas stove, granite, and farmhouse sink, but also feature 3 fireplaces (2 gas downstairs and 1 wood burning in the master), original hardwood throughout, uncommonly high ceilings, backyard with brick patio and furniture, Big Green Egg and a Weber Grill – the perfect place for entertaining downtown. We provide cable, wifi, 55 inch TV w/DVD and Netfilx/Hulu capability, washer & dryer, and parking passes available. Three fireplaces (2 gas downstairs, 1 wood burning in master).

When we aren't renting the house, we live here full time, so there's pretty much anything you would need. We provide guest towels and bath mats, bed linens, a blow dryer, shampoo & conditioner, laundry and dish soap, etc. We also have bluetooth speakers and a number of folding chairs and a card table in the basement for entertaining.

Interaction with guests

We will welcome and greet you and are available for the duration of your stay by text, phone, or email. We provide a house guide with all relevant information and local recommendations to enjoy!

The neighbourhood

We are about a half block off of Main Street in Downtown Annapolis, which features cute shops, great bars and restaurants, and historic sights. Historic row homes line our street paved with brick, and if you continue down our street away from Main, you'll hit the water in about 2 blocks.

Getting around

Park your car and leave it! All of the downtown area is walkable from our home. Walk to the Naval Academy in 5 minutes (about 3 blocks). Free shuttle around Annapolis stops on the corner of our street, and you’re a 2 minute walk from the water taxi to Eastport for celebrations at Lewnes’ Steakhouse, the Chart House, and the Boatyard!

Other things to note

We can provide parking passes for 1 or 2 cars depending on the duration of your stay. Depending on your travel plans, it may be easier to leave your car in one place (either on the street or in the garage). Our house is in the center of town, and unless you need to get to the grocery store, there's not a lot of need to drive. We'll help you figure out travel and logistics for your stay!

House Rules
No smoking
Check in time is 11AM - 7PM

Although we are ok with entertaining, we ask that you keep noise to a minimum, and never past 10:00 pm on week nights.

Trash and recycling go through the alley and out to the curb on Sunday nights for early morning Monday pick up. The City requires trash bins be moved by noon Mondays, so please return them to the yard. We'll provide more details to renters. If you're not inclined to take out the trash, we are happy to come do it.

Annapolis is a dog-friendly city. Most stores and restaurants put out water bowls and treats for 4-legged customers. Pets are welcome, but need to be cleared with us first. We will add a non refundable pet fee of $200 (gotta keep the carpets clean and allergens to a minimum!) to your stay.

The home was just as described. It is beyond charming and cozy and I would absolutely stay here again. The main bedrooms have the most comfortable bed! Moira was a flexible and gracious host. Cons: the third bedroom is an office and the bed is a futon couch. It is incredibly uncomfortable and I wouldn't recommend it to sleep on for a weekend, though it would perhaps be okay for young children. The couch downstairs would make for a more comfortable sleeping situation. Also, we were told we'd have a parking pass and we didn't actually get one. All that said, we had a wonderful time and the house was truly amazing and right in the heart of Annapolis.

We had a wonderful 5 day weekend this charming row house convenient to everything historic Annapolis has to offer! Shopping and restaurants just around the corner, we even took the water taxi to Eastport for dinner. As we were in town for USNA Plebe Parents Weekend, we really liked the 5 min. walk to the gate. We were given parking passes and were always able to find a spot. It was 98-102 degrees while we were in town and we were very comfortable in the air conditioning of the house...might want a fan in the back bedroom as it receives southern exposure all day and gets pretty warm!

We had a great 2 night stay at the house and found it to be very nice and exactly as described. Moira had open communication with us throughout the experience. The home was clean and perfectly situated near the main street of shops, restaurants, and the Naval Academy, so it makes for the ideal alternative to a hotel in the area.

Great weekend in Annapolis, so nice to simply walk out the door and be close to everything. Very comfortable, excellent air conditioning, and great effort to preserved the original design of the house.

Amazing, convenient location and comfortable stay! Moira was such a gracious host and the home is beautiful. Perfect for accommodating our group of four adults, two toddlers and our midshipman who visited us occasionally. The master bedroom was really large and easy to fit our pack n play in. The adults loved having our morning coffee and evening wine on the front porch. Communication with the host was super easy. We hope to visit again!

We love to sail, travel and cook. I don't think I could stay anywhere without wine and a good book!
