This was my first airbnb experience and it was wonderful. Clean, friendly and convenient. The hosts were great and had a lot of valuable information about things to do in Juneau. Highly recommend.

Bill and Jean have a lovely house with a beautiful vista over the water. Both were friendly and hospitable. I had a pleasant, too short stay. The salmon room was comfortable, got a great night's sleep. I'd gladly stay there again the next time I'm in Juneau.

Bill & Jean are kind, friendly, and genuine hosts. The "Sockeye" room I stayed in was very comfortable and the shared bathroom was super clean. If you're without a car like me, the bus stop is directly across the street and gets you into downtown Juneau in a jiffy. Or you can walk downtown in 20 minutes to a half hour. The views all around are spectacular. All in all, I had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

I loved how comfortable and well-kept this home is. I wish I could steal their bed and shower and have it in my house.

I stayed at Bill & Jean's house in the Cozy room over the weekend while I was in Juneau. I have nothing to complain about, honestly I had a great stay there! I never met Jean, but Bill was very nice. Communication was great. The place was very clean, and accommodating. It's right across downtown Juneau and is on the bus line if you don't rent a car. The view from the porch fantastic! And another bonus was provided a fridge with water, juice and an Alaskan beer, as well as shampoo, lotions, etc... even an iron with an iron board! Honestly, it kind of felt like a hotel stay with all the accommodations. The only thing that I had a problem with was how high the bed was! But there was a stool in the room so that worked out. Usually when I look for an ABNB - my tops are cleanliness, communication, and how friendly the hosts are, and my hosts exceeded. Thank you so much Bill & Jean! I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to AK!

Sometimes a five point (or star) scale is not enough to rate something superb. That is how I feel about Jean and Bill as people, their home and the room I stayed at. So I have to rate my experience using a 10 point or star scale! And they get 10 stars from me! First, Jean and Bill are wonderful people and hosts. Being rated by Airbnb as superhosts is an understatement! I interacted with Jean more than I did with Bill, and I truly appreciate all the time and help that she provided to me. She was very gracious to offer me her time even before I arrived to answer some of the questions I had regarding the area and activities. Then when I was there, she gave me all her time to answer my questions and guided me during my stay. She went out of her way to help me and make me feel comfortable. I happened to have spent my birthday in Juneau while staying at Jean's and Bill's house. And they were so caring and wonderful people and contributed with their kindness to me having spent a wonderful birthday! Thank you Jean and Bill for being so thoughtful!!! Regarding the room itself. It was a great room for me and very comfortable. Jean and Bill know what they are doing and they excel as hosts. Their house is beautiful and spotless. So was the bedroom and bathroom. I loved the fact that my room had a refrigerator for my own use. And of course I loved all what they provide including a cozy robe, snacks and refreshments, great towels and quality essentials. As they indicate in their listing they offer a tram pass, which is a great considering what it costs otherwise! Travelers looking for a room in Juneau should choose Jean's and Bills place and they will be extremely happy at all levels, the way I was during my stay. Jean and Bill have several rooms listed in Airbnb, so the traveler has choices. While I did not see the other rooms, I am sure all the others are as great as mine! This was by far the best experience I have had with Airbnb and with the greatest nicest hosts! Thank you Jean and Bill for offering such a great home/room and more importantly for being as kind as you are. I hope I will travel again to Alaska and can include Juneau in my plans just to visit you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You do not get five, but 10 stars!
