Interaction with guests
You can do your own thing. I work from home most days of the week, and though I do work some weekday evenings and weekends.
This is a great location to base an urban vacation or business trip from. The apartment is five minutes by foot to 17th Ave and Marda loop, areas with lots of diners, pubs, fine restaurants and great coffee shops. South Calgary Park is 2 blocks away, it has a public library, playground, tennis courts and a public outdoor pool. The Glenmore Reservoir and Bow River path systems are each within a 10 minute walk, or quick bike ride.
There is direct bus service to the downtown core, which is only about 20 minutes by foot. Cabs are often found waiting at nearby corner of 14 St and 29 Ave.
You can reach my condo from the Airport on Public Transit. It is simple, take the Airport Bus to downtown, walk 60 feet to catch the Number 7 bus which is a 10 minute ride to 60 feet from my door.
Keep it tidy, use the common space as you need to. If you plan to entertain guests let me know in advance so that we can plan for this. Quiet time between 11 pm and 8 am. There is no smoking in the condo.
I've lived in Calgary longer than any other place, and truly love this city in all of its' complexity and contradictions. I live car-free, grow some of my own food at home, like music and patio coffee drinking. My favorite trips involve oceans, rainforests and cycle touring. I'm on the go during the summer, between working local events and travelling to connect with family and friends there will be lots of open time for travellers to book my entire condo, or to stay in the guest room. I can't wait to meet you!
