About this listing
A cosy self-catering, air-conditioned flat with ethnic-contemporary interior design. Located in the heart of the Grand harbor, you will be in a historical area, a short walk from yacht marinas and 20 minutes by bus to the capital city of Valletta.
This property sits at the very entrance to The Three Cities area of the Grand Harbor. It is easily accessible and has good parking availability exactly opposite the facade of the property, on the main road. Bus stops are in the immediate vicinity, with the Airport about 9 km away and a bus to Valletta taking only around 20 minutes to arrive.
Valletta can also be accessed by ferry, which leaves at regular intervals from the marina.
Having taken a direct hit during the second world war, the apartment is part of a rebuilt structure, though the large welcoming entrance hall to the block is original to the building. The fully restored building and apartment has two authentic closed wooden balconies from which you can view both active dockyards and parts of Valletta. The interior design has an ethnic and contemporary feel which is both warm and welcoming, completely designed by the owner.
The apartment is very well lit, with a large airy bedroom and a cosy kitchen-living space.
Weather permitting you may also use the roof terrace at leisure.
This is a second floor flat accessible by a wide, comfortable staircase.

I'm an easy going and very trustworthy person who believes in honesty and treating people equally.
I've had an international background since my childhood and currently teach English as a foreign language. Teaching has indeed followed more than twenty years as an airline crew member, where I worked to help people from around the globe feel comfortable and safe during their travels.
Art, culture and meeting new people are what I look for whenever I have time to relax. My apartment is in fact decorated mostly with my own art. I work hard to help guests feel welcome when visiting Malta, knowing that everyone hopes to have an enjoyable time when abroad.
When I travel I love looking for interesting hotels or apartments to stay in, believing that this is always part of my general experience.
And then again, I always do love coming back home after a good trip.
