My perspective of Charlie as a host is that of a solo, senior female who rented short term for 3 nights. I was very comfortable with Charlie right from the start. I found him to be a very accommodating and gracious host. He was helpful and knowledgeable about anything and everything you'd find of interest in Falmouth and the surrounding area. If you enjoy being on foot, I'd recommend the half mile walk to the beach which included a lovely wooded path, reminiscent of old Cape Cod. I actually came across a turtle sunning itself mid path. He paid no attention to me as I tentatively walked around him. The beach was beautiful with only a handful of people there- very scenic. Charlie was in and out and accessible to answer questions, but was non intrusive. The rental area was spacious and comfortable with much to look at in the way of Art and books, and I truly felt like the space was all mine to enjoy. Wifi worked great too! Charlie's home is located in a wooded, quiet neighborhood away from the high traffic areas; perfect for those who enjoy a serene setting. If you like to shop, Falmouth Center is roughly 7 miles away. Plenty of restaurants there as well as a variety of clothing and gift shops. Expect lots of traffic during the summer in Falmouth Center. Great place- I'd go again for sure.

Both my fiends and I had an Excellent stay. Charles is a great host, very insightful on Cape Cod History, extremely welcoming and ensuring his guests are comfortable. Being able to stay a night in this secluded,Rustic Cape Cod house was very comfortable. The beds are super comfortable as well, with No city noise or any other distractions, it makes for a nice and quiet place to rest. Would definitely consider booking this Airbnb again.

Charles was very friendly and accommodating! He knew so much about the history of Cape Cod and had great recommendations for things to do! I also really enjoyed that his house was a short walk away from the shore which allowed for a beautiful morning walk!
