Where you’ll be

Vulpera, Schweiz, Switzerland

Scuol, a 15 min scenic walk from the residence, is a historic center for wellness thanks to its remarkable mineral springs. This ancient village, with five fountains spouting pure mineral water, is reputable for its healthy atmosphere. For over 100 years the geothermal baths have attracted travelers from around the globe, plus the modern Spa and wellness center is definitely worth a visit.

More information
Discovery of the Lower Engadine with its picturesque mountain villages and home to a Swiss National Park guarantees a relaxed and active holiday.

The Lower Engadine becomes more tempting for those who want something authentic. There remains a feeling of the undiscovered as if you are entering a different world. The historical buildings of the tranquil, cozy Engadine villages and the rich Romansh culture shape the landscape.

The area has long been popular with Swiss families who seek the traditional Alpine charm of old mountain villages and a more peaceful vacation.
Despite its unchanged old-world charm, visitors don’t have to forgo the contemporary luxuries of a spacious accommodation, Spa, or a variety of modern sports and integrative wellness services.

In the WINTER months, the Lower Engadine becomes a breathtaking ski resort. The skiing takes place above Scuol, the Lower Engadine’s capital, with more than 80 km of ski trails, 13 of which are challenging black runs. The challenging runs offer good skiing for intermediates, but the sunny ski slopes are also well suited for children. Kids can learn to ski while having fun in the excellent Kinderland Nalunsin daycare center. There are endless skiing and snowboarding opportunities for all tastes and levels. In addition, you will have the chance to enjoy a number of other winter activities including sledding, air boarding (inflatable sled) and acrobatic snowboarding.

For those vacationers who do not want to spend their days on the slopes, there are a variety of other possibilities that span from thermal baths to a network of snowshoeing routes, 20 km of cross-country ski trails, sleigh rides, winter-walking routes through the countryside, and an ice skating rink.

In SUMMER the Lower Engadine has much the same atmosphere as in winter. Scuol is a lively, picturesque village full of people in love with energetic mountain sports. But instead of skiing and snowboarding, they’ve come to hike, bike, climb, run and enjoy white water rafting and golfing.

This is not sort of place you’ll find hordes of tourists mooching about in designer boutiques and snacking on pastries (although both are possible in Scuol). Instead, the pretty, pedestrianised streets are buzzing with hyperactive families, lean, wiry twentysomethings and well-maintained older couples – all kitted out in the latest technical clothing and carrying ergonomic backpacks rather than shopping bags. They’re here to drink in the dramatic mountain scenery and pit themselves against its steep terrain.

Engadine is renowned for its good weather. The high mountains surrounding the valley often successfully block out bad weather systems and allow for more sunny days than in other areas in German-speaking Switzerland.
By day, enjoy the sun and snow up on the slopes; in the evening, relax your body and soul in the baths and saunas of a stylish Spa…
The Spa, Scuol’s Bogn Engadina, the Engadine Bad Scuol, is extremely seductive, with its hot whirlpool bath, saltwater pool, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna complex and Roman-Irish bath which follow the Ancient Roman’s beliefs regarding gentle heating and cooling with water and steam with the Celtic credo in hot, dry air. The Engadine Bad bath lets visitors relax their limbs in the curative Alpine waters while looking out over a spectacular landscape.
At this premier world destination, you can slow down to a long, happy sigh. When you set your own pace, the world feels right and every moment is yours. Nurture your inner life with spiritual exploration, and relax completely with a sublime body and skin treatments.

In addition to your comfortable stay, you will enjoy:

•Spacious, completely equipped accommodation
•Various daily sports activities, hiking trails, mountain biking, winter sports, indoor and outdoor pools and tennis courts, mini golf, plus much more…
•Unlimited access to the fitness facility, exercise studio on premises
