Description

The space

Superb location, views to mountains and sea, 25m from the beach
These recently refurbished air conditioned apartments are situated in one of the most sought after areas of Puerto Pollensa.  Just one road back from the famous Pine Walk, the area  is very quiet yet just a  minutes walk to the one of the Pine Walk´s loevly cove beaches.

They are located on a quiet street just a row back from the Pine Walk main promenade.

The studio apartment does not have a separate bedroom, and it has a “kitchenette unit” including a microwave, sink, toaster, kettle and fridge. There is no hob or washing machine in the studio, but due to its top floor location it has views over the front line apartments to the bay. The studio has 2 x single beds that can be placed together to simulate a large double (bedding provided is for single beds).

The town centre, Marina and Pine walk are a short stroll away, as are restaurants, cafes bars, shops,  and of course Pollensa’s fantastic beaches. The apartment block is well maintained with all the apartment have just undergone renovation. The modern bathroom also of good size contains  a shower, hand basin and low level wc.

Just along the road a few minutes walk away is Laguna Bar & Restaurant where you can use the pool and enjoy lovely food, drinks and snacks. See Laguna Bar and Restaurant for more information. The pool is owned by the Laguna bar and restaurant and the agreement is that you should buy some food or drink if you are using the facilities there. It is not expensive and a very good facility. Normally during the season they are open 09.00 until late (usually you can use the pool whilst it is still light time hours).

Colins flat is located in a house of three apartments, belonging to his british company ´VidaVillas´. The check in was communicated via (after 16:00): first I had to register on the hp of his company ´ and accept the conditions. Then we got the code for the Keybox in the house. Generally the flat is ok, clean and has a comfortable terrasse. the bed has two singel mattresses, so not ideal for pairs. the kitchen is actually no kitchen, only a small sink and a microwave. that´s it.so you can´t cook there. Port de Pollenca is actually nice, but built for tourists, full of british tourists and expensive restaurants.

Response from Colin:
Thanks for the feedback. Although I need to correct some inaccurate information, firstly there are actually 5 apartments in the block, it is a block and not a house. They are not owned by VidaVillas we are only the rental agency. The kitchenette has a microwave, sink, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is no cooking hob. This is accurately depicted in the photos and description. Puerto Pollensa has a lot of British tourists but we also have many French, German, Dutch, Scandinavian and Spanish tourists that visit. Not all restaurants are expensive in Port de Pollença, you can eat a menu del dia at many restaurants for around 10€ 3 courses including wine. Tapas are free at certain bars. If you choose restaurants on the front line expect to pay for the privilege but if you want to do it on a budget it is also possible with plenty of options. Please ask we are happy to give information there is also a guest book which has lots of useful information on it.

We are a family business, with many years experience of renting holiday villas. Like many people who come to stay in our properties, we often went on holiday two or three times every year and more often than not stayed in private villas or apartments. We travelled to Ibiza and Menorca and eventually, after our children arrived we found our favourite spot in Pollensa in the North East corner of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.
We continued to take holidays in private rental villas in Pollensa until one day in 2006 we decided to take the plunge and buy our first property on Mallorca for a holiday home. We were feeling brave so we decided to buy a run down town house in the historic quarter of Pollensa. Six months after the purchase we sold our UK businesses and property and moved full time to Pollensa, Mallorca to start a new life. We never managed to take a holiday in our new holiday home but many other lucky people did and thoroughly enjoyed it, the property is still available to rent now and continues to be a favourite with our clients. We purchased and rented several properties of our own which gave us a further understanding of exactly what people wanted when they rented a private villa.

We enjoyed great success in renting our properties and after speaking with friends and acquaintances who owned properties, we found many were looking for someone reliable to manage the rentals for them. In 2012 we decided to set up Vida Villas and we now manage a selection of properties that we have direct relationships with the owners. Many are private holiday homes for the owners and as such have been very lovingly restored and decorated tastefully, furthermore they have been fitted out to ensure a comfortable and relaxing environment for a well earned break.

We are continuing to expand our programme and we are adding new villas and destinations each season. We have employed people with similar experience of villas and the destinations that we offer. We are planning to offer new destinations each season and are constantly reviewing options and properties that will fit in with the profile of accommodation that we offer.

We think it makes a world of difference to stay in holiday accommodation that is also someone´s home, it creates a more intimate and essentially more homely experience. Please browse through our selection of properties and drop us a line through one of the contact boxes should you want further information about our villas.
