Walk to Bach Festival, historic Hayward Field (home of the US Olympic Track and Field Trials), and University of Oregon from this beautiful South University Neighborhood home.
1930's Cape Cod style home has six large bedrooms on three levels with real beds. Ideal for large family gathering or couples. Families in town for weddings and reunions have especially enjoyed this home.

Your hosts live across the street and are happy to help you make the most of your stay in Eugene. We purchased and renovated this historic house to protect the quiet family quality of our beautiful neighborhood.
We are available to help you find restaurants, shops, recreation activities and more. We hope to give you complete privacy, but are happy to help you enjoy all that our neighborhood and community have to offer.
The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood of historic homes and big trees. You are at the interface between neighborhood and University. We walk to restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, Hayward Field (track), Bealle Hall (music), and the Mathew Knight Arena. Bicycling or jogging across campus takes you to the running trails and cycling along the river. The nearby Amazon Park features a huge, family friendly swimming pool, tennis courts and running trails. The university business district features your usual mix of ethnic resteraunts and shops including the U of O Bookstore where you can get your Duck gear.
The bus line runs through our neighborhood for convenience and this is a super bicycle town. You can rent bikes and store and lock them safely under our back porch. We provide a book of tourist guides to waterfalls, wineries, breweries, hikes, coast, mountains and community events to help you have fun.
The full house is yours. We are usually just across the street if needed.

Other things to note
Check out our guest reviews. The pictures are an embarrassment and don't do this house justice. I pledge to fix these this summer! During the school year we have Phi Beta Pi women living in our house. (They are super over-acheivers and really nice gals!)
Be a good neighbor. No rowdy parties.
No smoking. Take care of our home.
Enjoy beautiful Eugene in the summer.

This picture shows Jon and Priscilla, Grand daughter Svara and our bloodhound Georgia.
Jon is a family physician and Priscilla is recently retired from a career as a United Way Executive Director. We love outdoors, music, gardening, track, good food, good friends, family, our community, our work - not necessarily in that order.
We live across the street! Jon bought this house to save it from becoming high rise student housing. The renovation protected a beautiful home and the mellow nature of our neighborhood.
