Beautiful walking neighborhood just blocks from Bealle Hall, Matt Knight Arena, Hayward Field, dining, bakery, parks. Bicycle or run through campus to all riverside trails.

The space

Check out our references and read below. The pictures truly don't do this house justice (due to my lack of technical skills!).

Walk to Bach Festival, historic Hayward Field (home of the US Olympic Track and Field Trials), and University of Oregon from this beautiful South University Neighborhood home.

1930's Cape Cod style home has six large bedrooms on three levels with real beds. Ideal for large family gathering or couples. Families in town for weddings and reunions have especially enjoyed this home.

This home is furnished with mostly new items (or appropriate oldies like the pressback chairs), plenty of linens, and kitchen gear. We have two and one-half bathrooms, a full laundry (new front loading washer and dryer), kitchen deck and private fenced patio that can be accessed from the kitchen or lower level bedrooms.

The overlarge living room has a six piece sectional and four chairs, providing ample seating. TV/VCR, side tables, carpets and fireplace create a welcoming atmosphere.

This historic home is bright and sunny with plenty of paned windows. Carpeted bedrooms feature five double beds and one queen bed. Two of the upstairs bedrooms include a sink and mirror alcove to make bathroom sharing easy. One upstairs bedroom hosts the upper porch for morning coffee. Lower level bedrooms are extra large and feature bay windows, a private entrance from the courtyard, extra refridgerator, full bath with shower and laundry rooms.

Common areas have hardwood floors, area rugs, extra large living and dining room and east facing sun room. The large country kitchen, great for multiple cooks, has butcher block counters, tile, granite sink and new appliances including gas stove. Cable TV, DVD player and Wi-fi are provided.

What a fun unique place to host our wedding party. We are so grateful for the wonderful kitchen and hospitality. Priscilla's flexibility and care of our stay made our big day a huge success. The beds and linens were great. The back yard was great for quite conversations, the halls were great for adventures, and the neighborhood so peaceful. Thank you thank you!

The house is located on three floors. The upper floor has four bedrooms with the bath and then there is the living area on the main floor in the two bedrooms with the bath downstairs. This provides privacy. They house is spacious, well appointed, very comfortable and within walking distance from a great bakery, ice cream and a nice restaurants. It's close to the university and not too far from the river. The driveway easily accommodate two cars.

The location of the house was perfect for our Eugene visit. We had plenty of space and the house was within walking distance to the campus and nearby restaurants. PrIscilla made sure we had smooth arrival and provided delicious coffee that we enjoyed. She also had a bowl of fruit as well. If you have anyone who has difficulty with stairs, the bedrooms are either up or down a flight of stairs from the main living area.

My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Priscilla's spacious, classic Airbnb. There was plenty of visiting space for the family reunion and the leafy neighborhood was conducive to relaxing and exploring. I would definitely book it again for a large gathering.

This picture shows Jon and Priscilla, Grand daughter Svara and our bloodhound Georgia.
Jon is a family physician and Priscilla is recently retired from a career as a United Way Executive Director. We love outdoors, music, gardening, track, good food, good friends, family, our community, our work - not necessarily in that order.

We live across the street! Jon bought this house to save it from becoming high rise student housing. The renovation protected a beautiful home and the mellow nature of our neighborhood.
