If you are looking for a centralized location to explore Portland, Mt Hood and the Columbia River Gorge, we've got access to all of it! We converted our upstairs bonus room into a suite with a queen sized bed, couch for lounging, and desk should your work come with you. The bathroom is not attached to the room, but it's all yours when you stay with us.
We converted our large, upstairs bonus room into a guest bedroom with queen bed, full couch, and computer desk. Guest bathroom (detached from the room) has dual sinks and shower with detachable shower head. The guest room is the only west facing room upstairs and is decently spaced from any of the remaining upstairs bedrooms for added privacy. Backyard is fenced, large patio wraps around east and south faces of house with sunshine all day.
Backyard has a propane BBQ, open wood stove for fires out on the patio, table and chairs for outdoor dining. Garage is set up for minor ski and bike tune and repair. The Kegerator is usually stocked with some local beer or cider.
Interaction with guests
Depending on the time of day and season, we are accessible most evenings and some days.
Other things to note
We have two well-behaved, friendly dogs - a lab and a golden retriever. They are not allowed in the guest room when not in use.
Sorry no more pets. No smoking on the premises. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and family friendly, so we ask that you respect our neighbors.
My husband, CJ, and I are active, fun, outgoing, outdoor-loving, beer enthusiasts. We moved to the outskirts of Portland to be closer to our playground (Mt. Hood). We both have backgrounds working in health care. Whether it's skiing in the Winter, rafting the spring and summer, or Mountain biking almost anytime of the year, we are always up for a new adventure!
