The space
Once an old farmhouse on a vibrant dairy farm, this delightful home has been lovingly transformed into a sanctuary of beauty, warmth, and luxury, inviting you to indulge in the simple pleasures of life.
As you step inside, you'll be welcomed by a harmonious blend of vintage charm, playful elegance, and luxurious touches. Sparkling chandeliers, plush velvet furnishings, and refined details create an atmosphere of both comfort and sophistication. Each room tells its own story, filled with timeless treasures and whimsical decor that invite the imagination to roam.
The Queen's Quarters is a place to be enjoyed. Gather around the dining table for a sumptuous breakfast or an evening of laughter over board games. Celebrate with long champagne brunches, where laughter fills the air and every moment feels like a toast to the good life.
Escape to one of three enchanting bedrooms, featuring two queen beds and one single bunk bed. Sumptuous bedding, refined furnishings, stunning wallpaper, and soft lighting enhance the regal charm, sophistication, and romanticism of each space, promising a peaceful retreat and a restful night’s sleep.
Share stories and create memories in the cozy library room, where soft blankets and shelves filled with books invite you to slow down and enjoy each other’s company.
Experience the simple joy of hand-selecting ripe, sun-kissed fruit from our garden. Savour your morning coffee on the veranda, immersed in the tranquil sounds of the countryside, or gather around the outdoor seating to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.

Guest access
Guests have the entire house to themselves, including a spacious backyard, a private driveway, and access to a lockable garage for their car.
Entry to the property is via a unique access code to the key safe - provided 1 day before check-in.
Other things to note
Children:
Children are welcome at The Queen's Quarters however, specific amenities for infants and toddlers, such as cots and highchairs, are not provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own.
The house is not baby/toddler-proofed. We understand families would love to stay and trust parents' judgment in regards to this. We understand accidents happen and things break, just let us know so we can replace or fix it for the next guests :)

Location:
The Queen's Quarters is located on a slip lane off the Princess Highway, only a leisurely 1.2 km stroll from the town centre, where you’ll find quaint shops, charming cafes, and the historic port.
The famous Rail Trail is just a minute’s walk from our front door. If you're planning to walk into town, as we often do, this is the best route to take—scenic, peaceful, and a perfect way to soak in the surroundings.
Please note, while the location is convenient, it may entail some street noise. We recommend considering this if you're a light sleeper or sensitive to noise.
Pets & Animals:
While we adore furry friends, please note that we cannot accommodate pets due to our cleaning protocols and future guests with allergies.
Camera:
For your safety, the front street/drive is monitored by a security system, but please rest assured your privacy is respected inside the home. The system is not monitored or watched unless a problem is reported.
Pond:
Relax and unwind in our picturesque cottage, surrounded by lush gardens and a peaceful pond. The large pond, located in the backyard, adds to the tranquility of the space, but we ask guests to stick to the designated garden paths for safety. If you're visiting with children, please ensure they are supervised at all times near the pond. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priority!
