Peaceful rural farm setting in the open countryside with views of the sea on the horizon. A handy base that provides easy access to the coast and the countryside and for visiting nearby attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Budle Bay, Holy Island & Chillingham Castle.

The space
A quiet cottage on one level offering sleeping space for up to 4 people. The cottage provides a cosy living room with television and a wood burning stove (fuel for which is provided) and a separate fully equipped kitchen. One of the bedrooms has a king sized bed with television and the other has two single beds. There is one bathroom providing both a bath and shower. The cottage has recently been refurbished yet has retained some of its traditional features making this a cosy but characterful place to feel at home during your stay. The cottage has been redecorated throughout in 2025. There is an EV charger in the private yard for exclusive use of guests staying at the cottage.

Guest access
There is private parking with space for two cars adjacent to the cottage. The cottage has its own large enclosed patio area with garden furniture and views over the open countryside - Bamburgh Castle can be seen in the distance. While a car is advised in order to get to nearby villages, there are also countryside walking trails that lead from the cottage without the need to get into the car, maps of which are provided.

Other things to note
All linen and towels are provided along with a welcome pack upon your arrival. There is written information on things to do around the local area included within the cottage. The Coast, Holy Island, Budle Bay and Bamburgh Castle to name a few are all accessible within 5 - 20 minute drive. For keen cyclists, The Sandstone Way is easily accessible and for walkers, the Cheviot Hills are near by.

The cottage is located on a farm on a quiet country road, is not over looked and has open views over the fields and the sea in the distance. The immediate area is farmland with quiet country roads leading to a number local villages and only 10 minutes away is Bamburgh beach. There are three dog friendly pubs which all serve great food within 2 miles of the cottage, should you feel like dining out.
