Where you’ll be

Wadebridge, Cornwall, United Kingdom

Penquite is in a quiet neighbourhood but literally a three minute walk from the centre of beautiful Wadebridge. The town has so much going for it and is very popular with visitors and people from other towns in Cornwall. It has many bespoke shops and an excellent range of restaurants, cafes and pubs where food is served virtually all day. There is a two-screen cinema.
We are a five minute walk from the famous Camel cycle and walking trail with its abundance of bird life (together with otters if you are quiet and fortunate!) We are 20 minutes by car from the surfing beach of Polzeath, and the pretty fishing ports of Padstow (with Rick Steins restaurants) and Port Isaac – the fictional home of Doc Martin. Rock is also close where you can go windsurfing, water skiing or just watch the people and boats. Catch the little ferry to Padstow.
There are many other fabulous beaches, cliff walks and Bodmin moor to explore.
The Eden project is 40 minutes away and there are nearby National Trust properties including the wonderful Lanhydrock House. There are a number of good golf courses around the area
