Relax in this comfy travel trailer in the backyard of a private property with a vacant home (future remodel project) surrounded by beautiful conservation land in the Pine Barrens. The property is gated and fenced in. Start a hike right out the back gate with trails for miles through the woods. There are other units available for rent on the property as well, so bring your friends along! This is farm and chickens (including crowing roosters) and honey bees (safe distance!) are on the property!
The space
Short 10 mile (20 minute) drive to the beaches of Seaside Heights (and others on the barrier island).
The travel trailer is located in the backyard of a property surrounded by conservation land. There are other travel trailers on site, and they are all located close to one another however they are all situated facing away from one another, giving you the sense of having your own outdoor space.
Surrounding the fenced and gate property are thousands of acres of conservation land. Great for hiking, hunting, riding, and exploring!
The travel trailer has heat and air conditioning.
Accommodates as many as 6. The main private bedroom (with doors) has a comfortable queen bed, and closets for your clothes as well as a TV. The second bedroom has 4 bunks and a TV. There is another TV in the main area where you will find the kitchen, dining table and a couch. All 3 TVs in the RV are Roku TVs so you can access your favorite streaming services.
The dining table also provides plenty of space for 6 to share a meal inside.
The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven and sink. It is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a drip coffee maker, coffee and filters, plates, cups, etc.
The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. Please flush ONLY human waste and the provided RV toilet paper. Anything else will damage the septic system.
Your private outdoor space is a nice shaded area under Sycamore and Holly trees with a propane grill, and a picnic table.
There is a fire pit available for guest use as well. Please check the NJ Forest Fire Service website to verify fires are permitted before lighting.
You'll be given clear check in instructions to the property as well as the RV. Please read and follow these instructions carefully!
We always respect your privacy, however we are available should you need anything!
There are about 60 pasture raised chickens on the property, including 4 protective roosters, that forage daily around the entire property. They do occasionally come close to the RVs, but most of their time is spent in the front of the property near their coop. Please do not approach the roosters.
This is not a party house. So please do not plan on having a wild party here or your reservation will be canceled and you will lose access to the home and your security deposit.
Please BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. Bath towels are provided but are NOT to be taken to the beach. :)
Pet Fee - $25 per pet per night. Pets are welcome as long they are 100% house trained (meaning no accidents in the house, will not constantly bark, howl, or cry when left alone and will not scratch at the door or chew furniture) completely cleaned up after (poop outside and HAIR inside), and kept OFF the furniture (bedding, furniture, etc.). Upon booking please inform the host that you will be bringing a pet(s) that meets the above criteria and the pet fee(s) will be manually added to the reservation by the host.
An additional minimum charge of $50 will be applied for each pet accident or hair cleanup.
Please note that there are other rental units on the property so other guests may be utilizing those spaces during your stay.
