The white mountain village of Cómpeta is just 6km away.

The space
Thoughtfully designed as a spacious retreat for couples, The Guest House also comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Beautifully furnished with carefully chosen antiques, original artwork and personal touches from our own home, we hope it feels like a place where you can truly relax, unwind and embrace the slower pace of life.

Inside you’ll find two comfortable king-size bedrooms, both with air conditioning, a welcoming open-plan living space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cosy pellet-burning stove for cooler evenings. The spacious master bedroom adjoins a separate dressing room with fitted wardrobes, providing generous storage for clothes and luggage. The second bedroom is equally comfortable but has very limited storage, making the dressing room ideal for guests sharing the house.

Glass doors open onto your private terrace, where comfortable seating, outdoor dining and your own private swimming pool overlook the Andalusian mountains and the Mediterranean. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee, a leisurely afternoon by the pool or an evening beneath a blanket of stars, it’s a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and simply be.

Although we live next door, The Guest House has been thoughtfully positioned to offer guests a genuine sense of privacy and seclusion.

Travelling with friends or extended family? Our separate Studio is just a short stroll away and can be booked alongside The Guest House, providing stylish additional accommodation for up to two adults while allowing everyone their own privacy and space.

Guest access
You’ll be able to drive directly to The Guest House to unload your luggage before parking in your private space at the top of the drive. Throughout your stay, you’ll have exclusive use of the accommodation, terrace and private swimming pool. We believe your holiday should begin the moment you arrive, so your key will be waiting and The Guest House will be unlocked for your arrival. Of course, we’re always nearby should you need us.

Please note that Finca La Vida is nestled in the Andalusian mountains and reached via winding mountain roads. The final approach to The Guest House is along its own unmade track. Standard cars have no difficulty accessing the property, but it’s important that you’re comfortable driving on rural mountain roads. We believe the peace, privacy and spectacular setting make the journey well worthwhile.

Other things to note
Finca La Vida is a genuine rural retreat nestled in the Andalusian mountains. Living so closely with nature is part of what makes it special, and we ask our guests to help us care for this beautiful environment by using water and electricity thoughtfully during their stay.

As with any countryside setting, you may occasionally encounter geckos, insects and other native wildlife. They are all part of rural life and one of the many reasons this beautiful landscape remains so unspoilt.

Our dogs, cats and two rescued donkeys, Sedna and Freya, also call Finca La Vida home. They have their own space, but you may occasionally catch sight of them during your stay. They are a much-loved part of life here and, for many guests, become one of the most memorable parts of their visit.
