We love our home because it is full of windows and glass doors - there is so much light! Vaulted ceilings and curved walls. We enjoy sea glimpses from the balcony and port views from the mezzanine. It's also near the river - perfect for walks.
The house is a really unique space - full of strangely shaped windows and curved brick walls. The bedrooms, which are modestly sized, are all downstairs on the ground floor. Go up the spiral stairs and you're greeted with a sweeping western view across treetops to glimpses of the port, vaulted ceilings and a cosy woodstove. This is where the open plan kitchen, living room and playroom are located (as well as the balcony). Up another flight of stairs to the third level and you'll enjoy views right out to sea...this is our tv/reading room.
Everywhere except the garage :)
Interaction with guests
We're also available by phone if we're in Australia or email if we're overseas. For emergencies, we also have a list of back-up contacts.
This is our home so please treat it as you would your own :)
The house is suitable for kids aged three and older but the spiral stairs could be a challenge for those not steady on their feet (including some seniors). We allow smoking on the balcony or in the garden but not in the house.
Please be extra careful when handling the vinyl records and record player - these are not to be handled by children :)
The garage is off-limits but there's plenty of parking in the driveway.

Our Australian-Canadian family are keen travellers! We've been across Asia, Europe and South and North America and have used Air B and B in many of these places. We've also hosted people from Canada, Australia and France :)
Apart from travelling, we love music, books, food and canoeing. If you stay in our place you'll notice a large library, a well-stocked pantry and a canoe if you're game to get out on the river!
Come and stay in our lovely place in Freo - you won't be disappointed!
