I was not happy with the property and even bough I was booked for two nights I did not stay. It was a very odd property and not in an ecological reserve as stated. There was a lot of trash around the site. The property itself is very very unique and a tad creepy. No wifi and very cut off. There was a large hole in the ceiling with buckets catching the rain water. The handle in the shower for water was. Out of pliers and the the electricity was a car battery. The home smelled odd and there were no coverings on most of the windows so bugs were in the home. The host was very very kind but I was not happy at all worth the property

Unforgettable place! We started calling it the Treehouse because of how it's elevated and how it seems to be made of tree trunks. The kids loved playing inside on the swing and climbing around though this made my wife nervous. We had wanted to stay somewhere in a Mayan village or in the jungle, so this was great. We loved walking the short walk to the cenotes and I'm sorry we didn't have more time to explore to see the other ones. There are quite a few territorial dogs in the area, and they raised a holy hell when we were out for a morning walk, but they never came close and threatened to bite. Really, really interesting place.

Looks just like the pictures except for the outdoor pool that was empty, cenotes is a walk out. We couldnt find it ourselves. Guidance would be recommended.

This place is incredible! Believe it or not, the photos do not do it justice. The house is so unique and beautiful! The surrounding area is amazing and magical. It's quite secluded, so if you're looking to escape the craziness of the city and stay in a slow paced and amazing location, this is a great spot to do it. Highly recommended! Thank you Amanda!

Staying at Amanda's home was such a unique experience , never to be forgotten ..Her home nestled in the jungle so quiet but not far from civilization and shops ..Walking through the bush , not far , to swim in the cenotes was amazing. The home , built by hand , so creative , so inspiring and the feeling go being back to nature was so relaxing ..Would recommend to those who are passionate about a non materialistic world , nature and the evironment ..We would certainly visit Amanda again and stay longer .. Enjoyable stay ..

It was a fun getaway. The cenotes were beautiful. Amanda was awesome. She really went out of her way to help us out. Especially with our transportation needs. We did pay her extra. She didn't ask, but it's just the right thing to do and it was a lot easier than renting a car and trying to get to and from the place ourselves. The only suggestion or recommendation I could give is to have a map of the place and exactly how to get to and from the cenotes because it is very easy to get lost. She drove us to one cenote and showed it to us but we weren't able to find it again. The other was easy to find once she drive us past it and showed us where it was.
