Comfortable holiday home with lagoon and sea views in the heart of the Garden Route. Within walking distance of the lagoon (500m) and beach (1km). Many great restaurants, shops and banks nearby (2.5km - see our recommendations in the guidebook). 30 minutes from world class golf, wildlife and beachfronts. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area both indoors and on the outside deck where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Linen and towels also provided. Parking for 3 cars available.
The space
Comfortable living space with everything you need for a stress free holiday. Open plan living room and kitchen with dining room table for 6 people.
Kitchen equipped with gas hob and electric oven, microwave,fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Each of the four bedrooms is equipped with a double bed.
There is a large deck with bbq/braai facilities. The deck looks out over the lagoon/lake and ocean from where the odd whale and dolphin can be spotted.
There is one large bathroom on the 1st floor and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor. One of the bathrooms is accessed from the driveway. Guests need to go outside to access this space.
Parking is available for max. 3 cars. One parking space is covered. The rest are in the open.
House is equipped with an alarm and armed response and a small safe is available.
Variety of activities in the area including hiking, fishing, cycling, kite surfing, paragliding, bird watching, golf and watersports to name a few.
Guest access
Guests can access the house via the main entrance on the first floor - access via stairs to the left of the house.
A key box can be found on the first floor deck, as you come up to the stairs to the right (before reaching the main door). The code to the key safe will be provided once the booking is confirmed.
In the lock box you will find 1) a key for the main first floor door 2) a key for the outside bathroom accessed via the driveway and 3) a key for the washroom which is found at the back of the house 4) a remote with which to activate/deactivate the house alarm. To activate the alarm press the button once. One beep - alarm active. Two beeps - alarm off. Please deactivate the alarm before entering and activate it when away from the property.

This is a family holiday home in which we spend vacations and have built many beautiful memories. We therefore ask that you treat it with the same respect you would your own home.

Creative, genuine, loving mother and grandmother. I raised many of my children in this wonderful cabin and have thoroughly enjoyed creating memories with my grandchildren here over summer vacations too. I hope to share some of the magic of Sedgefield with you, by opening up my home to you as well!
