I stayed in this property for 3 nights to attend a conference at the University of Sheffield. It is in an excellent location - close to public transport (10 mins to central train station by tram) and you can walk to the University in 5 mins, and to central city in 10-15 mins. The property has all the necessities: a private room, a shared shower and toilet (which are each in a separate room), as well as clean bedsheets and towels, etc. The property owner also allowed a flexible check-in and check-out, which made my trip very easy. My only criticisms are: 1 - I never met the property owner in person. We communicated via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), and this worked out very well and was very convenient. Most of my dealing were with one of the other tenants in the property, who was more than helpful and extremely nice. 2 - The property description is somewhat misleading. This is not a 'University Guesthouse'. It is not owned by the university. This property is simply a private room in a shared apartment (there appear to be two other tenants in the same flat, who share the kitchen and bathroom). The building itself is a multi-story apartment building, which seems to be used as a student residence. The private room also has the feel of a student residence room. I suggest guests keep this in mind when renting this property, so as to have accurate expectations when booking.
