Interaction with guests
My lovely parents manage the apartment, will prepare it for you and will be there for check-in and check-out. For whatever you may need throughout your stay, you can always send a message on Airbnb or to my cellphone, and we will all do our best to get back to you, promptly.
In general, the only rule is to leave the place the way you would like to find it. In my experience as a host, I noticed that most of the times this is actually what happens, and it is also what makes the Airbnb Community such a nice bunch. You will always find the house clean upon your arrival, and we will take care of cleaning up after your departure, to prepare it for the next guests: still, we are really keen in making you feel home. We try to spend as much time as possible in the house ourselves as well, and we like to think of it as a place of which we can all enjoy, as our home.
No smoking is allowed indoor. The bikes are equipped with lights and locks: please be so kind as to make sure the next guests will be able to enjoy the same! Also, by the rules of the entire complex, no bicycle is allowed in the building: should you carry a private bicycle, you need to lock it in the dedicated covered racks in the garden area.

I am an architect and I am passionate about good architecture and ancient urban settlements. I fell in love with Bosa while making my final thesis project at the university: the design proposal was a minimal intervention to re-qualify the Temo river's banks in the old town. Few years later, I managed to acquire this old house right in the medieval city center, where I try to be every time I free myself from work.
Due to my work, I travel quite a bit, and lately I find myself eager to learn much more about different traditions and costumes (especially from Asia and the Far East... China, India and Vietnam, and more recently from Central America and the Caribbeans). I find it impressive how many things we can learn from each other cultures, and how much can be adapted and adjusted among different locations. I like this positive side of globalization, where intelligence becomes global and local traditions acquire value.
I am currently committed in a research aiming to drastically lower the construction cost (price per square meter) of social housing through implementation of sustainable practices: everybody should have the right to a comfortable home, in a cleaner world.
I am based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, but I often engage in projects which bring me in beautiful places: I am currently living in Phoenix, Arizona.
