A delightful highly popular holiday resort right by the beach, your accommodation choice is a privileged one. It is ran by two British ladies. Their service and attention to detail is of the highest standards.
The room comprises of one double bed with tasteful decoration of paintings and prints.
There is AC and a ceiling fan to help keep the room cool.
The attached bathroom offers a toilet, douche, wash basin and shower with hot water control.
There is a seating area both inside the room, and outside the room, giving you the choice to do both. Feeling peckish? There is a restaurant too with meals and drinks right next to the beach.
You will also find a foldable clothes horse for hanging your clothes to dry, which guests tend to love.

Please note this is a highly popular resort which gets booked up quickly. Should you be interested, please do not delay to make your booking to avoid disappointment. The ladies have put their heart and soul into this resort and it shows. Clearly a cut above the rest in the area.
Check-in time is after 1 pm. There is no extra charge if you check in a couple of hours earlier, subject to the room being available. Guests are requested to check out before 11 am.
Interaction with guests
Your hosts are Clare and Jo, two vibrant British ladies who love Sri Lanka. They are enthusiast about their new adopted country and will be able to point you into the right direction should you have any questions.
The guest house is off the Nilaveli Road in the region of Uppuveli, close to the 5 star Trinco Blue Hotel.
Uppuveli is about 6 kms north of Trincomalee Town, and Nilaveli is 6 km to the north of Uppuvei. Both areas are known for their scuba diving, and there are water sports centres on the beach that you can contact.
Uppuveli is quieter than Nilaveli, and there are more fishermen in this area. The beach has golden sands, and you can see the sea crabs running along the shore line at night as well as diving into their claw made sand holes for protection.
About 2 kms away, you can enjoy the tranquility of the Trincomalee War Cemetry, a well kept place that is dedicated to those who died in the Second World War, irrespective of their creed or nationality.
The no. 1 tourist attraction in nearby Trincomalee some 6 kms away is the Koneswaram Temple, which besides being beautiful has some amazing views. Close by is Frederick Fort and Marble beach.
Also a trip to visit the natural deep harbour, called Inner Harbour, is another must-see. Have a bite to eat for example at the Dutch Bank Cafe, an international restaurant that looks out over the harbour. In this area there is also a naval base.
Tuktuks are an easy form of transport for you to move around the area. Remember to agree the price before you take one.
Other things to note
Breakfast can be purchased at a price of 600 rupees per person. It includes 2 eggs (in any form), toast,butter, jam, fruit platter and tea or coffee.
There is a diving centre next door called Angel Diving which offers scuba diving trips and courses.
Please be respectful of noise levels in the late evening as other guests may be sleeping.
