Finca Sabila is a little piece of heaven and the perfect place for a relaxing break to unwind. It is everything you see in the pictures and more and we loved the art and ambiance. Francisco corresponded well before our trip and provided detailed information on how to get there as it is a few miles off of the main road. Francisco and Maria gave us a warm welcome and showed us around, kindly leaving us some nectarines as a welcome gift. The house is very well equipped with everything you need from the fully fitted kitchen to the robes for the hot tub. We enjoyed having meals at all the different terraces at various times of the day and soaking up the fantastic view. The peace and quiet was just what we were looking for and we were only visited by the birds, butterflies and the odd lizard. The highlight was relaxing in the hot tub, especially after visiting Caminito del Rey, watching the sun go down and the stars coming out. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning. Thank you again Francisco and Maria.

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful house of Francisco and Maria, and were very well looked after by Manolo, who came by daily to water the flowers, and check everything was ok. We had excellent communciations with Francisco and Maria before the trip so were well informed about everything. They have created a wonderful place with Maria's paintings, all the teraces, view points, plants and flowers, and we loved the jacuzzi and the outdoor bed, as well as the lovely fire in the evening. We so enjoyed watching and hearing the birds all around, stunning views and the stars at night. The house is extremely well equiped (there were even bathrobes for the jacuzzi) and the kitchen has everything you will need, including an electric juicer to make fresh orange juice with local super sweet oranges. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun overlooking the beautiful hills is highly recommended! The house is a few kms from the main road on an unmade road with potholes but the instructions to get there are good. There are local shops in the nearby Valle de Abdelajis and further away Antequera is well worth a visit. Do visit El Torcal, massive stone formations, and El Caminito del Rey is not far away (half an hours drive). But do make time to chill and relax in this beautiful place. Many thanks - we would love to come back!

Francisco and Maria greeted us at their beautiful cottage. This remote place offers amazing views from every single terrace they've built (which they have a few!). Beautiful art painted by Maria adorns the inside of the cottage creating a wonderful personalised feel. As this place is rural, we found supermarkets by the town of Antequera, around 30 mins drive away. Using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps it is easy to find, but becareful the off-roads that it might show you when coming from up north like Córdoba. Best keep to the paths Francisco recommends.

My friends and I really enjoyed the beautiful mountain scenery and Fransisco and Maria's charming, comfortable and well-equipped home-from-home. Fransisco and Maria were very welcoming and helpful, and their friend / caretaker Manolo, who lives nearby, was especially kind to us. One tip - do look carefully at the photos and instructions for accessing the house - we missed it which was our fault entirely.

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this lovely house of Francisco and Mario is perfect. The house itself is cosy and full of character (with paintings by Maria herself!) and the views are amazing. Francisco is an excellent host. There was flooding in Malaga when we were there and we had some problems because of this, but Francisco did everything in his power to sort these issues out for us. Manolo is responsible for the upkeep of the property and he comes by most mornings. Es el mejor vecino del mundo! He brought us fresh fruit from the gardens, wonderful olive oil and so much more. We enjoyed our chats with him, using a combination of beginners' Spanish (from our side) and lots of mime. :-) In short, we fully recommend this place to everyone. We already have very fond memories of our time here and we definitely plan to go again.

Francisco was very kind and met us at Malaga airport late at night to give us the keys along with a guide of the house and how to get there. Once we arrived at the house we where stunned by the cosyness and the views. It is really a remote paradise. The jacuzzi is superb and the house has everything you wish for. It was a bit tricky to drive the last bit so make sure you got a good car that can handle a bit of terrain. But it is worth every penny, it is breath-taking. Thank you so much, we will never forget this place. John & Sofia

Francisco had contacted us on a number of occasions before our visit to ensure we could contact him when we arrived. We met his friend Manolo and he brought us to the house. He showed us everything we needed and was there every morning working on the farm. If we needed him he was there and very helpful. He provided us with some produce from the garden. Tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, almonds and the figs. The figs were amazing . It is a beautiful tranquil area and we really chilled out. Huge space outside with a number of terraces . It is beautifully laid out with stone benches and tables chairs and umbrellas outside. The hot tub was relaxing and we only tried it one time.
