3 bedroom, 3 bath home with beautiful views in every direction, only 5 minutes from downtown Estes. You have two decks plus a new hot tub to enjoy the beauty of the Rockies! Cozy fireplace. Low fees, Estes taxes are already included.
From the back deck and hot tub you can see Long’s Peak, Mount Meeker and Twin Sisters. Watch the sun come up and hit these beautiful mountains! When the sun in the afternoon is too much, you can move out to the front porch for beautiful shade and more mountain views. Watching a blizzard or thunderstorm from the family room windows is breathtaking. Overall, there’s not a bad seat in the house!
Long’s Side has three bedrooms, each with beautiful wood, king bedroom sets, large closets and flat screen TVs. The over-sized master has a beautiful bed with metal inlays – definitely fits in with the mountain setting. The master also has a 40” flat screen TV and a wonderful sitting area with gorgeous mountain views. The sofa sleeper in the master can be used for extra sleeping area. The private bath for the master has a beautiful, new, large, walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has its own private full bath. The third full bathroom is off the hallway. Sleeping arrangements work best for up to 6 adults plus 4 small children or 2 larger children.
At the front of the house is your living room with a large 46” flat screen television and plenty of comfy seating. The couch is incredibly comfy and beautiful, an Ethan Allen sleeper sofa that can be used for extra sleeping space. The couch is complimented by two fantastic lounging chairs, leaving plenty of room for everyone.
As you move towards the back of the house, your eyes are drawn to the bay of windows in the family room that face Rocky Mountain National Park. There is a large table to seat six, plus the fireplace is at the back of the room, making for a spacious but cozy family room. This is a perfect location for sharing a bottle of wine, a rousing game of Monopoly, and a few hands of poker (or 'go fish').
The family room joins the kitchen with a small breakfast bar where you can catch a quick snack. The kitchen has every amenity needed for a great vacation. There is plenty of cookware, silverware, bowls and gadgets to ensure cooking is a breeze. Appliances include a stainless steel fridge, large oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, hand mixer, blender, and coffee maker.

The whole house is yours. This is a neighborhood, so please be respectful of neighbors. While we have a local manager, handyman and cleaning service, it is unlikely you'll see any of us present at or around the house.

You can always reach me by phone during your stay. Please don't hesitate to ask about the house or Estes!! We want to make your vacation wonderful!

Taxes are LOW - 5.55%, lower than Estes' 10.55%.
There is a highchair, booster seat & pack n play available. A starter supply of basics (soap, TP, paper towels, K-cups, etc) is supplied, but guests may need to purchase more of these items for their stay, depending upon usage.
Check-in at 4:00. Check out at 10:00. If you need more time, please let us know and we'll do whatever we can to be flexible.
- This home is in a residential area. Please keep the concerns of neighbors in mind when using the outside areas. No loud parties, please.
- Smoking is allowed outside only.
- No Pets allowed.
- The number of people sleeping at and visiting the house will be limited to the number of guests booked.
- Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order. We work very hard to keep our cleaning fee low. Please tidy up the house. If the house requires higher than normal cleaning time, we may need to deduct additional charges from your deposit. This is unusual, but please leave the house in good condition.
- When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. This especially applies to children - you are responsible for the safety of children using the hot tub.
- DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement.
- Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.
- Colorado is very prone to wildfires. No fireworks or outdoor fires are permitted.
Any violation of house rules may result in early termination of your stay with no refund and/or forfeiture of your security deposit. There are security cameras on the outside of the house and by accepting this agreement you acknowledge this. (We wish we didn't need to have these, but found people were bringing extra guests. Estes Park ordinances around vacation rentals are very strict, and our license can be revoked if we violate occupancy rules.)
Long's Side is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Douglas & I spent 6 years in Colorado, returning to Chicago to be near family. We both work in the IT industry, and get out to Colorado every chance we get. Our heart will always be in the Rocky Mountains! We purchased this wonderful home in 2013. We have a great support system is a property manager in the neighborhood, a terrific handyman and a small but professional cleaning company to make sure the house is ready for you to enjoy.
