Great location

Guests who stayed here in the past year loved the location.
Step away from world class restaurants, shops and public transportation. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood setting. Walk to the Convention Center, The Moda Center (Blazers), The Wonder Ballroom, the Pearl District, the Lloyd District, and Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Sleeps 4, with queen bed, and a convertible comfortable futon in the main room.

The space
The suite is situated in the daylight basement of our one hundred year old home, near restaurants and shops. The bedroom has a queen size real bed, and in the main room there is a super futon (with springs) which we will happily convert to a bed if requested. You will find kitchen essentials; a microwave, a small refrigerator, an electric kettle, an electric burner, and a coffee maker. We keep it stocked with fresh ground coffee, and instant oatmeal for a quick on the go breakfast. I am always happy to loan any additional cooking supplies; spices, utensils, or pots and pans, as needed. There is a utility sink to wash your dishes and for water. In the laundry room

But who needs to cook when there are so many amazing restaurants in our neighborhood like Ox, Cliff’s, Killer Burger, Pine State, and Tiny's, all just a few blocks away.

You will have a private basement entrance through our unfinished basement space.
Storage available for rented bike, car seats, etc..
We have a wifi connection for your computer. The large television is equipped with with Chromecast so you can watch your netflix que, and cast your computer (we are not connected to cable). In the sitting room chest you will find an assortment of board games, feel free to play!

In nice weather you may enjoy the private outdoor patio area to the right of the private entrance, nestled between the sidewalk and the house.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the suite through an exterior door (you will have your own code for the touchpad deadbolt). Guests then pass through a shared, partially finished storage space that contains a recycling station for guests, as well as a coat rack and shelves for guests. The private entrance to the suite is found there.

To the right of the exterior door is a small patio for exclusive use of the guests.

Other things to note
This is a basement unit's ceilings are a tad low. Additionally you will hear us up in the kitchen in the mornings and evenings. We are generally not very noisy and will warn you if we plan to entertain.

Check-in time is 4pm, check-out is 11am.. We are happy to hold your luggage if needed for drop off before checkin, or later departures.

When you visit, you will always find fresh ground coffee, instant oatmeal for a quick breakfast, and microwaveable popcorn for late night snacking.
If you happen to be traveling in an EV we will happily share our 120 charging station, please arrange this in advance.
There are additional personal care supplies in the bathroom cabinet please feel free to use them.
If you are traveling with young children we have a stroller, and a portable bed available, please ask. You do not need to add a single child under 5 to the guest count but please do let us know.

We have outdoor cameras monitoring the front door and the Airbnb entrance (camera mounted on tree across from door.
