Welcome. New Orleans is a great city where you can run nonstop with an almost unlimited number of bars, music venues and of course great restaurants or just chill with the sultry summertime vibe which seems to hang in the air all year long. I love to travel and experience different cultures and New Orleans is certainly different than any city in the US that I have visited. It's my home now for 23 years and I will never tire of admiring the houses and architecture, the live oaks, gardens, and the sense of community that is unique here. My favorite things include digging in the dirt, traveling, kayaking and reading an intriguing book. Right now I am reading Just Kids by Patti Smith - her story about coming of age with Robert Mapplethorpe. I've just returned from Morocco, one of my favorite countries, and will tell you some stories about the trip and the fabulous country when you come visit me in my 1890's Shotgun. My first language is English but if you speak French or Spanish we can manage as I know enough to get by. Be well and happy travels.
