Great location100% of recent guests gave this home’s location a 5-star rating.

Escape to an Alaskan wilderness cabin 40 minutes by water taxi from Homer. Here you can paddle (SUPs or kayaks), hike the Kachemak Bay State Parks trails and relax in style at this charming, one of a kind retreat between the sea and mountains. The house is perched up on hillside which requires climbing the equivalent of 5 flights of stairs, has an outhouse, no running water or electricity. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful woodwork and a fabulous king size bed upstairs!

This is a super special place that is well worth the effort getting you (and your stuff!) all the way to Halibut Cove Lagoon and the Waters Edge. Great for kids and families.
