Welcome to Cozy Corner Cottage in beautiful Mount Dora! Built in 1915 this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom arts and crafts cottage is just 3 blocks from downtown shops, restaurants, bars and parks.
The cottage is full of character. It has several different areas to chat and relax: the sitting room, with a work space, where you can see outside keeping your privacy, the living room, the kitchen's nook, and the fenced patio.
Cozy Corner is good for couples, adventurers, and business travelers.

The space
Our house was built in 1915. We believe it was originally a coffee and tea house. The sign above the entry to the living room was found in the attic during restoration and is thought to be the original sign.
We immediately fell in love with this home and couldn't wait to spend time here in Mount Dora.
There are several areas to relax and enjoy the home. The sunroom on the front of the house has recliners to sit and enjoy the view, from the A/C. If you prefer you can sit outside on the gliders in the garden! There is also a fully fenced back patio area with Adirondack chairs and a 10' umbrella for shade. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, most in the area only have one bathroom. There is a full kitchen with a gas stove and a laundry area in the garage. The dining table extends to hold up to 6 people for meals.
We do allow small dogs up to 30 lbs (max 2 and No Cats). If you plan to travel with a dog the size and breed must be confirmed with us in your reservation request, as our insurance does have restrictions.

Steve and I have lived in Naples for over 20 years. We love SW Florida and enjoy getting out into nature and exploring our backyard. We will be more than happy to suggest more adventurous things to do as well as the typical tourist attractions. We enjoy boating, kayaking, hiking, swamp hiking, camping and Geocaching and are very familiar with most of Florida. In our guest book you will find information on some our favorite restaurants and venues. We have raised our family here and look forward to even more exploring, here and abroad.
