A perfect, laid back place to stay for the two of us and our dog. The hut is really special - beautifully put together, comfortable and tucked away in the woods with a magical view out over the valley. You can really tell how much hard work and attention to detail has gone into this place. Thanks to Tom and Rodeo for being such marvellous hosts. Hope to see you again soon.

The perfect place to come relax and unwind. Exceeded all our expectations. Don't want to say too much or everyone will want to go stay there.

We had a truly magical stay in the shepherds shanti. Tomas was so very accomanding -We traveled by train and Tomas kindly picked us up from the station. There were loads of wonderful walks right from the front door - It was a true escape to the wilderness, we couldn't have wished for more.

i had a perfect stay at shanti the shepherds hut. it's equipped with everything you need (e.g. you will find a trusty wood burner, a kitchen that misses nothing, a shower that has hot water ready when ever you need it) and because of its lovely interior it gives you an instant feeling of comfort. if i had a question tom always helped me out and was an overall kind, relaxed, generous and extremely cool host. the surrounding area offered me a lot of stunning views and a real sense of calmness and silence. ultimately words fall short to truly describe what an amazing time i had during my stay at llethrau farm and it surely will hold a special place in my heart.

We had such a lovely time on our New Year break at Shanti. We hope to be back very soon. Tomas was really helpful and most accommodating. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Ceri, Mike and Bruno

It was a real treat to visit and stay in Shanti the Shepherd's Hut. We wanted a few days "off the grid" and it's exactly that. Rustic, beautiful surroundings, but also really comfy. The Hut is beautifully appointed, with everything you need, and really nice touches are the extras, soaps, milk, tea & coffee, and even something special to drink on arrival. We were lovely and warm thanks to the very comfy mattress and bedding, and the fabulous little "Hobbit" log burner, which happily stayed in all night if damped down, ready to go again in the morning. How often can you enjoy unlimited hot water, and a power shower in such a rural setting. It was all perfect. Our little town car even enjoyed the opportunity to tackle the country lanes (which incidentally are perfectly passable unless you're driving a Lotus). We really enjoyed our visit and special thanks to your lovely dog (Rody?) for not biting Alexander who does have a bit of a "teeth first" approach to playing.

Outgoing. Easy to get on with. Enjoying the simple life in the welsh borders. Loving my collie. Have fun doing a bit of forestry. Enjoy going out to listen to the folk music scene in the borders. Loving the land here.
