This place is an awesome choice! The apartment is modern, new, clean and easy to get to. It can easily handle a big group of people.

We were looking for a spacious three bedroom during our stay in New York and this property was the best fit! The home was delivered nice and clean with modern finishes that actually matched the photos. It comes with a washer/dryer which was a huge plus! Checking in/checking out was quick and easy. The only minus we'd say was that the neighborhood was a bit...sketchy. Easy access to public transportation but if you're planning to take Uber/Lyft to the city during traffic hour. It will easily be 1+ hours from this location.

Great stay! I would do it again. The place was clean, hip, and inviting. It was more than enough room for my family (5 adults, 2 kids)

Alesh and Sara were very welcoming and accommodating the day of our arrival. We originally were meant to arrive at 5 PM, but our flight was changed to 10AM arrival with less than 24 hours notice. Alesh was very understanding and was able to receive us earlier than expected (they even had freshly ground coffee and chocolates waiting for us!). He even went out of his way to make an extra set of keys (3 in total) for my big family without us even requesting it. I had also asked Alesh if he happened to have an air mattress at hand, and he said that he did. Little did I know that my simple question resulted in him going out of his way to purchase a new air mattress for our stay. My family truly appreciated their hospitality and we knew we were in good hands. Thank you Alesh/Sara and Lucy! We had a lovely time in your place:)

A dangerous situation exists due to lack of handrails when going up and down the stairs into this basement apartment. I fell when we checked out of the apartment. Also, the apartment needs to be maintained better. Too many things need repair. The apartment is a good size but somewhat high priced for the neighborhood.

The apartment was exactly as expected, nice and spacious and suited what we needed. We travelled as a family of 6 but that included a mother in law and a teen boyfriend so the additional bedrooms, bathrooms and general living space was essential. Definitely not something we could have got in manhattan! The metro was just round the corner and had us in midtown manhattan in about 40 minutes from the door. It's been mentioned by other travellers that the upstairs neighbours are easily heard. That's definitely true, but we maybe heard them for about half an hour in the total time we were there so hardly worth getting worried about. We'd not hesitate to recommend the apartment to any budget conscious NYC visitors!

I rented the space for my birthday weekend. This was my first time using the airbnb platform so I was looking forward to a great stay! I came across this posting and immediately thought it would be a great fit to host my dinner party Friday night. Everything seemed to be going well until I heard banging from the top floor. I wasn't aware that the walls were so thin. I got the approval from the property manager Alesh to host the dinner party the night of, so the banging to reduce minimal noise was strange. Also there's a pretty steep stair coming into the apartment, so if you're not paying attention, you could really hurt yourself. I stayed in the master suite which wasn't a bad space at all but the bathroom door only closes halfway so if you had anyone in the room with you, other than a spouse, you'd have to kick them out to use it in peace. The bed wasn't the most comfortable either. The neighborhood seemed a little questionable. My guest were worried about leaving their cars unattended even with their doors locked. Not a bad neighborhood overall. Easy walk to the train station. I asked if parking was available and was offered to park behind the house for an additional $20 per night for the two night stay. Getting my car in was a bit of a hassle, I was never told the space would be so narrow. I open the gate behind the home and proceeded to park. It wasn't until I was vacating the premises that I scraped the side of my car because of such a tight space. I'm left with damage to the rear door on the passengers door. This happened on the actual day of my birthday so I'm not pleased with my overall experience. I would of been better off parking on the street. This stay became a complete nightmare!

Hi! We're Lucy and Philip. We live in historic Crown Heights, and we're sharing an apartment in our home with vacationers coming to visit New York City.

We are sure you'll enjoy your stay! Our house is 3 blocks from the subway (5 min walk) and a 10-15 minute subway ride to Manhattan.

We own a tile and cabinetry company in Brooklyn. Since we are so busy, we have hired Alesh Bradac (who is fluent in Czech) and Caroline Walde-Jensen (who is fluent in Danish), of MyHouseMgmt LLC, to handle all correspondence and check-ins (their picture is the second one in our profile).

We would be delighted to have played a hospitable and memorable part in your New York stay!

Sincerely,

Lucy & Philip (the owners), and Alesh & Caroline (the managers)
