The house is about 8 miles from downtown Ithaca, 8 miles from Ithaca College, and 6 miles from Cornell University. The nearest grocery store and restaurants are 5 miles away. We have a large lawn with hammock and picnic table for you to use; also a few wooded acres with two ponds and a pleasant walking path.
The sleeping space and bathroom are entirely private to you, and the rest of the house is private to us.
Interaction with guests
We'll greet you and happily show you the space. We'll be available for any questions you may have or problems that may arise, but otherwise expect that you'll do your thing and we'll do ours.
Need some ideas for things to do? Just ask!
Other things to note
There are pets in the house, and when we don't have guests, they sometimes enter the rental space.
No firearms in the house
Guests should be quiet, especially after 10 PM and before 8 AM.
TV and music should be kept low.
Originally from Tennessee, I've lived in Ithaca longer than anywhere else. I work at an international tech company founded by a Cornell U. alumnus. I like to play racquetball and speak rudimentary Spanish. My wife and I look forward to welcoming diverse people from all over the world.
