Large and completely silent apartment located right on the most famous street in Czech republic (Mostecka) leading from legendary Charles Bridge to the Prague Castle. 2 bedrooms with 1 king-size bed and 2 double foldout couch. Directly in the heart of old Prague, you don't need public transport, all is behind the corner!

The space

All of the elements required for an unforgettable Prague experience have been assembled in and around this spacious apartment uniquely located near the castle-side entrance of Charles Bridge.

This classy and comfortable apartment, large enough to sleep six, will leave you relaxed, well rested and refreshed each morning as you head out to explore this breathtaking city that starts with Charles Bridge just a few steps away.

With all of the essentials and necessities contributing to a convenient and effortless stay, this affordable apartment will indeed have you looking forward each day to it's "welcome home" feeling. Let this pedestrian-only bridge, the royal route of so many kings and leaders for hundreds of years, serve as your pathway home. With the lights of Prague's most famous castle lighting the hill above you, you will always have a lighthouse in the storm to guide you home from all of the beautiful twists and turns this city offers.

Why choose my apartment over others in Prague?

* Location. Prague is such an amazing city that almost any host can claim to be within walking distance of something interesting. But this apartment is literally placed at the doorstep of one of the world's most desirable destinations! Many people have visited this bridge, but you will have the rare opportunity of making it a part of your day, instead of something you just went to see once. Construction of Charles Bridge began in 1357. My American readers will recognize this date as 135 years before Columbus sailed in your direction :) And 670 years before you yourself take just a few steps from this apartment to find your feet on the same well- preserved walkway that connected the quests of so many historical figures between Malá Strana and Old Town. The magnificent Prague Castle with its many gardens, is just a quick ten-minute walk unless of course you stop to take pictures of all the beautiful authentic Czech structures along the way. From the castle grounds, you will experience an unimaginable view of the entire city! Choose to stare silently at its glory or sit down to enjoy the best beer in the world from one of the many patios overlooking beautiful Prague. Famous St. Nicholas church and the symbolic Lennon wall are also within a few breaths of the apartment.

* Silence. The second floor setting and solid walls of this building act as a nearly impenetrable barrier to outside noises. A must have when trying to get the sleep you need and deserve while on vacation.

* Dining. Walk down Mostecka or any adjacent cobblestone streets and find authentic Czech Cuisine nestled into quiet corners. Outside patio seating and top-rated Czech pubs help to magnify the traditional Czech experience.

* Perfect for an extended stay. This apartment has all the closet and drawer space that six people could ever need, comfortable beds and the cleanest bedding. I offer free high-speed internet, provide plenty of towels and cloths, clean dishes and silverware, more than enough chairs for extra seating, and an easy to use washing machine. I am proud to introduce a modern and upgraded kitchen and bathroom, a cozy courtyard balcony, and lastly for all of my tall guests fearing a claustrophobic Czech apartment, extremely high ceilings!

* Hosting. This apartment is hosted by a friendly, caring Czech native who speaks English and Czech, knows how to be available when needed, but is completely out of the apartment and out of your way. Rest assured that while in this apartment, you can enjoy it as if it were your own and without the worry of any untimely visitations. The voluntary reference of former guests is even available upon request.

I look forward to meeting you and to welcoming you to a place that has been so special to me and my family for so many years. Thank you for reading and have a beautiful day. :)

This apartment was absolutely brilliant. Exactly as advertised and the most perfect location. You couldn't be closer to Charles Bridge if you tried and yet the apartment is huge, airy and quiet-you'd never know there was so much action on the street below. There's several lovely restaurants on the same street and a shop for your groceries just across the road. Convenience is everywhere! Hedvika was so helpful as well, really grateful for her hospitality. I'd recommend this apartment to anyone. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Prague.

This is a fabulous place to stay in the heart of Prague. It couldn't be much better. The apartment is spacious, elegant and well-appointed - the photos precisely convey the appearance (note that curtains have now been installed in the main room, to keep out the light in the morning). It consists of a main room, which doubles up as a living room and a bedroom; a second bedroom; a lobby area; a kitchen; and a bathroom. There are individually-controlled heaters in each room, and the hot water works well. The kitchen is large, modern and has all the amenities. The bathroom is well-equipped too, although there's a bath rather than a shower cubicle - you need to take care when showering to avoid getting water all over the floor. There is ample storage room for clothes, including hanging space. The apartment is on the second floor, and there is no lift - bear this in mind if you have heavy luggage and problems with stairs. The location is in Malá Strana, on the left bank of the river, just a couple of minutes from historic Charles Bridge, very conveniently located within easy reach of the city centre attractions. Although the entrance is on an extremely busy albeit attractive street, the apartment itself faces towards the back, so it is extremely quiet. There are loads of cafés and restaurants nearby (although best to avoid those that are obvious tourist traps). Almost opposite the entrance is a convenience store for daily needs. I didn't meet Helvika, but her husband welcomed me on arrival and showed me around. He also recommended some local restaurants (one of which I was not able to find!). He and Helvika were happy to receive calls if I needed anything during my stay; in the event, this didn't prove necessary. All in all, I would highly recommend this place. One word of warning about Prague though: although it is a truly magnificent city, it is also extremely touristy and some areas are oppressively crowded. Be prepared for queues to get into major monuments such as Prague Castle.

Hedvika's flat is in an amazing location. It sleeps 6 people, but be aware that the whole flat is like one big room divided only by a glas door, so there is not much privacy. The flat was clean and in good condition. The area is great. If you stroll a bit away from the main tourist road, you will find a lot of very nice restaurants and bars. If travelling as a family, I would definitely recommend the flat. Being so close to the river, you can do all sorts of excursions from boat trips to the zoo, taking the cable car up the hills to crossing Charles Bridge and visiting the 'Old Town'. We used some of the recommendations in the Lonely Planet Travel Guide and that worked well for us. Prague is definitely worth a visit!!!

Hedvika is an excellent and hospitable host with an apartment located in an ideal location. Communication was excellent prior to my trip and Hedvika collected my party of 3 from the airport which saved us a lot of effort and gave piece of mind meeting the apartment owner from the beginning. The apartment itself is spacious and met all our needs, with Hedvika providing a nice touch of fizzy wine and grapes. The apartment is located just over St Charles bridge and was ideal for attending the wedding that we were in Prague for and for sightseeing in the days after. Do not hesitate to book as I would definitely stay here again, you wont be disappointed.

The apartment is in a great location. Kitchen is spacious and nice. We were met on time for check in. Shown right were the apartment was with no time wasted. Perfect location and quiet. Only complaint is that the bathroom mirror is hanging on the wall rather than in front of the sink which makes it difficult to shave in the morning (no big deal). Hot water was great. Thanks for letting us stay.
