Sam's place was great. Small issue with intermittent running water, but he and his friends were very accommodating and let us shower at their other AirBnB and were asking us if we would want to stay there instead. We opted for the Violin Mountain location because we wanted to get away from the city. Even got a delicious breakfast on our last morning! Sam was very gracious in picking us up and driving us to the airport. Also a scooter rental was available and very useful to us.

Samuel was very nice and accomodating. Picked us up from the main city and also offered to dropped us around whenever he can. The road to the accomodation is abit bumpy but it was just for 10 minutes. Over all we are happy to have stayed with him :)

Samuel was very accommodating. He drove us around for free. He also taught us how to go around Dumaguete City and in booking our Apo Island tour. He even allowed us to stay overnight at his place in Violin Mountain (just in time for the supermoon event. The view was breathtaking and gorgeous!) His place in the city is strategically located near the airport, Dumaguete port and Boulevard where most of the well-known restaurants can be found. So in the last few days of our stay we were able to move around quite easily as there are tricycles passing by. One thing to note though would be the power outage in the entire city. It happens almost everyday and the duration of the power loss can be as short as 20 min to as long as an hour. Also, the water supply is cut off from 1am and goes back by 4:30am. Overall, are happy with the whole package.

The room and view was amazing, bit of distance from the city but Samuel was very kind and accommodating he picked us up from airport and took us back and forth between the city without charging for ride. Made us feel like staying with friends, enjoyed meals together and talked. took us to local hot spring very nice. and last day we was able to move into the room in city for no extra charge. I would suggest staying with if going to be in Dumaguete area. If I stay in Dumaguete again I will try and get one of the rooms again.

Sam was fantastic and super nice with us. He picked us up at the seaport and advised us for next days trips. He helped us a lot and drove us next day to the "swimming with the tortoise" trip we wanted to do. He picked us up afterwards and both day we had dinner with him and his family. We had 2 wonderful days with him and his family. I totally recommend!!!
